STEER CLEAR! Do not buy!
First, the fact that the box this item comes in has a huge picture and writing that says “concealed gun bench” is absolutely ridiculous and completely defeats the purpose. I can’t even store my guns in it now because the box advertised what it was to my entire neighborhood. Out of curiosity, I did try it out with a couple of my rifles and was still disappointed. The racks have almost no protection against scratching and are not wide enough for most of my handrails. Additionally, this storage compartment is extremely shallow and you will not be able to store anything with optics; mine barely fit without optics. There were no holes for the feet, so I had to make my own and the screws went all the way through into the storage compartment. I am not at all happy with this product or the company. I highly advise to steer clear of this product.

Beautiful disguise.
Product is beautiful once assembled. Mine did come damaged but luckily I was able to fix it with a few screws and a drill. This thing isn't as sturdy as I'd like (particle wood) but it is a great deterrent because it looks like an ordinary ottoman bench which is genius. I can sit on it and not worry about it falling in, the sturdiness for the overall structure is great but the interior is lacking (wood holding interior hindge for locking door) the black screws and 1 silver screw I added to the weak piece of wood for added support. Which isn't a big deal but I know most people don't want to deal with that.

Impressive piece of furniture, but it doesn't lock.
I bought this after looking on-line at many similar products. These seemed to be very attractive, and by reviews rather easy to assemble. This type of product is frequently negatively reviewed, and I thought that I found a good one as this brand and style seemed to be a little better liked by the buyers. It was easy to assemble, however, it does not lock. It is a simple cam lock and the cam is not the right length to catch the edge of the box to inhibit lifting of the lid. It seems that I will have to shop for a replacement cam to get it to work.

good looking, but it's not made to sit on or have any weight
let me start off by saying the first one I received was broken on the lid. I ended up sending that back and getting a replacement that was not broken, but now the lid Is caving in from my kids sitting on it and from our dog sitting on it. It's just not intended to have a lot of weight on top, but everything fits inside nicely and the bottom can withstand the weight it's just the lid can't.

Classy and Dangerous (not actually dangerous)
The look and feel of the bench overall feels really nice and feels like a nice quality material. As far as comfort it's not the greatest but it's not bad by any means. There's a lot of room to hold your 5 rifles and then some such as ammunition or some gear. The lock isn't anything special but feels like it could keep people out of it.

Hinges broke off
Its nice but The hinges broke a few weeks after use. Better off getting a metal safe!

Lid collapsed. Cheaply made. terrible product. Listen to reviews. Do NOT BUY THIS unless you like getting items that break in a month.
