A Thematic Commentary on the Qur'an Paperback – Large Print, October 30, 2024

This is a great study book for me. From the photo I posted you can see how thick it is. I use it as a reference for context and understanding the Ayah I am reading, along with other material I use. I bought another one and gifted to a relative. Definitely buy it.

It is a great book. The book gives the lay person insight into the Qur’an. I am using it in my class and the class is loving it!

The author explains each chapter (surah) as a whole and just take few sentences (ayat) from each surah one learn not only the purpose of the surah, it's historical context, and the wisdom that God tries to convey us.

A must read for those who have difficulty in following the non-linear style of the Quran.

Not nearly as exhaustive as one might think, but it opens up discussion into the ayahs of the Quran and frees the mind to understand them in new ways.

If you’re Muslim looking to supplement your understanding of the Quran, you’ll be surprised to know this book is absolutely weird and not pro Islam at all. Thinking the authors name is Arabic, doesn’t mean anything. Honestly, throwing this book away. Such a disappointment.

Begining with the fact that the author of this book is not Abu Hamid al-Ghazali (450-505 AH/1058-1111 AD) [aka: al-Ghazzali , Algazel ], which the system provides the link for at amazon. He is a distingusihed scholar from Egypt and this book serves as a commendable reference material for learning and assimilating the noble holy Quran for students and scholars. Jazak Allah.

this book is very good commentaryor tafsir on the quran.i highlyrecommend it for anyone interestedin understanding the quran in english.
