Worst Slipjoint I've Ever Handled
I've owned a lot of these type of knives over the last 45 years or so, but this was my first Moore Maker and it's absolutely horrible.Lets be clear: Moore Maker does not make any knives whatsoever. They are very clear on their website that their knives are made by various contract manufacturers. I have no way of telling who made this particular example, but it definitely does not meet what my expectations are for a fairly expensive pocketknife. There is no "walk and talk" which is the smoothness and the strength of how the blades snap open and closed against the tension of the backsprings. This thing is so rough and gritty it's like it has no spring at all. Upon examination, the tangs on the blades are straight from the die punch with no finishing at all. Even the cheapest of slipjoints usually has a smooth motion and an authoritative "snap" when opened.I've attached some pictures of a properly finished knife - albeit a very economical Uncle Henry - compared to the Moore Maker 3202. You can see the roughness on the MM and the lack of any finishing work or attention to detail. Also in the pictures, you can see that the MM won't even snap its blade closed within 1/2" of the closed position. No slipjoint should be able to just sit like this.Overall, this is just a poor quality knife and a complete disappointment. I've already packed it up for the trip back after taking the pictures.

No Quality
I was so excited to get this knife in the mail. As soon as I opened the knife I noticed that the fit and finish is just terrible. The blades are not centered at all and also it’s gritty when you open it. Do not recommend buying this knife and getting your hopes up.

Not what they used to be
Back in time, Moore Maker had their knives made by Camillus and by Queen and they were very high quality. Today, they use Utica and Bear and Son and the quality just is not there. The only Moore Maker knife I will buy is one from back in the Camillus or Queen days, what they are selling today is very disappointing, especially for the money they charge. You can buy a Utica or a Bear and Son knife for a lot less than Moore Maker charges. And has been said on here, they do not make any knives themselves, although many believe that they are made in Texas, they are not. Some dealers will even tell you that they are made in Texas, they are misinformed.
