smiry Stretch Chair Covers for Dining Room,Silver Grey Set of 6 Velvet Large Dining Chair Slipcovers

Bought these covers in silver grey as the material (brown suede) on my long backed dining chairs was looking the worse for wear and out of place in newly decorated dining room. The framework of the chairs was in excellent condition and I could not justify replacing them. To be honest I was not expecting much as they are so reasonably priced but they are absolutely fantastic. They fit perfectly, are soft to the touch and look really lovely, they have transformed my dining room. I have had so many comments from family and friends who thought I had bought new chairs!! My long back brown 'leather' dining chairs were starting to look shabby, particularly on the top roll of the backs. The thin leather look surface was peeling and cracking showing the dense grey foam underneath. The chairs are solid and the upholstery is sound but leather they are not! So beware if you choose to buy these sorts of chairs however well you look after them they dont wear like real leather!However, these covers are the answer. The velour material is stretchy and thick and they can fit well but you may need to shorten the backs to take up any slack. Just put one on the chair inside out and decide how much slack there is on the back and pin to remove it. Remove the cover. Using tailors chalk, a fadeable sewing pen draw a line with a ruler. On your sewing machine stitch a line with a long straight stitch. Round off the corners to ensure a perfect fit. Place the cover back on your chair to check before you cut! Cut off the excess leaving say 1 cm. The material doesnt fray, but you could use a zig zag to finish if wanted. Turn right way out and fit the cover over the chair. The seat fits fine but you can improve it even further to prevent any slippage by sewing tapes to tie behind the legs. Do this with the chair upside down on your table - seat to table. Now do tour other 5 likewise..but it doesnt take long. The chairs now have a new lease of life, the covers can easily be removed for washing. They can be hoovered or sponged. They dont seem to attract dust. So all in all I am well pleased they even come in a heavy duty sewn poly bag which you can use to store linens etc.Made in China but made well.

These beautiful covers have transformed our dining chairs which we would otherwise have had to replace. I chose these covers because I wanted a soft velour easy to fit set of covers that would hide the blemishes on our 8 faux leather high back scroll dining chairs, the cost of these covers made this a very affordable purchase. I was so taken by the appearance of the covers that straight away i ordered 18 covers so that when the time comes and they need cleaning i can just slip the spare set on. They are slightly longer at the back so I have created a ruffle pleated effect just by pinching the excess at the bottom of each chair in line with where the seat area would be in fact it looks really nice just like it is part of the design I am not disappointed at all. I would recommend to others we chose the grey its a lovely smoky grey not too light not too dark either.

I LIKE THE BLUE COLOUR. THEY FIT MY CHAIRS BUT ONE SIDE ON THE TOP FITS PERFECTLY THE OTHER SIDELOOKS LIKE IT WANTS A TUCK. I CANNOT GET THEM TO FIT LIKE THE PHOTOS. EVERYTIME I PULL THEM DOWN THE LEGS OF THE CHAIR THEY RIDE UP. BUT HAVE KEPT THEM, THEY WILL KEEP THE SUN OF MY CHAIRS IN THE SUMMER. GREAT IDEA BUT FIT IS IFFY. I WOULD BUY THE SHORT CHAIR COVERS IF I GOT ANYMORE. I WOULD TRY ANOTHER COMPANY.I SHOULD HAVE SENT THEM BACK REALLY, BUT SAYING THAT GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY.

Needed to recover leather dining chairs but to do as was, was very expensive. Was really unsure about these but ordered to try & have been pleasantly surprised. They look lovely. Have revamped the chairs perfect. Didn’t like the brown fabric as thought that was what I needed to replace the existing brown leather so ordered a colour choice to blend with room colour & I’m so pleased I did. They are soft, velvety & stretchy. They fit perfect but to stop any slipping or movement I bought some sheet straps/suspenders from Amazon as well as I had seen that suggestion on another website. I’ve used just one strap from front to back & the strap can’t be seen as it is under the base of the chair. Well worth doing. My dining room as now got a new look with chairs recovered at a massive saving to having them reupholstered.

Quedan estupendas en mis sillas que tienen 60 cm del asiento a la parte más alta, todavía darían un poco más si se necesita. Tela negra lisa que está bastante bien.

Die Hussen sind vor dem avisierten Teremin gekommen. Die Farbe entspricht unseren Erwartungen. Der Stoff hat eine sehr gute Qualität. Dere Einsatz war ohne Probleme möglich. Es gibt keinen unangenehmen Geruch, wie von einigen erwähnt.TOP Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis - wir sind sehr zufrieden! Danke
