My bottle brush trees seem to love it! I have four 8+ feet bottle brush trees who started looking sad this fall. I researched their preferences and found they seem to prefer acid-based soil/fertilizer. I couldn't find any at my local store so I ordered this on Amazon and sprinkled around each one.I went to a little overboard on the thinnest tree and burned up the grass. I watered it in (not enough!) but we had steady rain for the next five days and that seemed to do the trick.I've noticed immediate new bright green growth on the tops of the trees, as well as another round of blooms.The blooms are gone now but here's a shot of the new growth and fullness. I will purchase again.I hope this review is helpful to you!

I was looking for something extended release that I could put out around my hydrangeas, which are acid-loving plants and need that type of fertilize. Something that wouldn't require mixing and applying every couple of weeks. So I was happy to find this. Instructions on the package were good and easy to follow. I just sprinkled it around the plants, scratched it into the mulch a bit, and then let the rain that we had for the next few days water it in. It seems to be working, as the flowers are a bright color of blue and the leaves are dark green. Will see if it really lasts 3 months ...

my sandy soil in ABQ is very alkaline so I use this on everything - fruit trees, crepe myrtles, pine trees, roses - they all have a lot of new growth and appear green and healthy. Very easy to use, I just sprinkle 1/4 cup on the soil and water it in; so much easier than mixing fertilizer with water and hauling around heavy buckets. It's time release and lasts about 3 months.

I ordered the Shake and Feed geared for acid loving plants and flowers per the package show; however I did not receive what was advertised. I received shake and feed for flowering trees and plants. Nowhere on the bag does it mention acid loving plants and flowers. I'm was not happy

This product is great. My Hydrangea plant loved it, as well as my crape myrtle tree. Also threw it around other plants and shrubs and they all started big blooms.
