The “boules” are very beautiful and heavy like the French pétanque

I know the metal ones area little more expensive but I know they won't break like a wooden one might.

I should have double checked on the sizing so that part I suppose is on me but these are super small, the wooden ball is the size of a large gumball and will surely be lost in the grass. The coloring is terrible, the silver are ok but the gold are all different, not uniform in color. One of them is actually much closer to the silver set. They came wrapped in a Trader Joe’s paper bag and they definitely don’t look nearly as nice as the similar set we used with a friend. The case looks to be brand new but if I were to see these outside the case I would guess they weren’t brand new. Oh, and the zipper on the case is broken so only one side zips. I’m really disappointed in the quality and size of these for the price we paid and if possible will be returning.

This Petanque set is outstanding! Great construction, well balanced, and they look terrific.

I have been playing with those balls once a week , maybe for 15 minutes everytime.The golden color on 4 balls is already peeling off.The ball are heavy, but soft and the chrome layer has chips that may cut your fingers.I liked the idea of having 4 balls of each color, making the balls easier to recognize. However, the 4 silver balls have the same pattern , and the 4 golden balls have also the same pattern (but different from the silver's one).Overall, given the price paid, i would not recommend those balls and for such questionable quality, i would go for cheaper balls.
