My previous shower renovation was last year, and I wish I knew about this product then. Saves you so much time from having to cut cement board, tape seams, make sure there's a good angle on the front ledge, etc. Don't worry about feathering the edges, it's super easy just follow the directions and place the EZ Niche **OVER** your cement board, then use thinset to feather out as shown in pictures.**Make sure you use premium polymer-modified thinset. Avoid the stuff that comes in tubs / buckets.**The back does have flex. To avoid this, I slapped some thinset on the back where it meets the drywall. No more flex.**Give yourself an extra 2 days just to make sure the thinset cures and adheres to the tile well.

The niche box was just what I wanted. The only issue I had was the glass shelf that matched was 1/4" too long and couldn't be cut since it is tempered glass. I heated the box to distort it.

I bought these so I didn’t have to search for them in a store, very sturdy and well designed.

Very satisfied with this product. My shower now has a built in shelf. The contractor said is was easy to install and was very sturdy.

The size is nice, but it isn't as solid as I would like. Now that it is tiled it is better, but not what I expected.

Makes building a niche a whole lot easier for a novice but you are limited to the sizes they come in.

Made my shower/tub enclosure really luxurious. Worked beautifully and my tile installers & contractor said it it was the only brand they would use now since it took the tiles so nicely and had great corners/edges.
