This is quite a volume, so beautiful, and it's in great shape, as described. Not only did we get a great price, the book was delivered super fast, as if it were an Amazon Prime item! TY!

What a glorious book!! I am now waiting for my fifth purchase of this magnificent book to arrive here in Melbourne Australia.I am an angel fan and this book is both informative and an absolute visual delight. Fra Angelico's angels on the cover first drew me in in a Melbourne bookshop and I was captivated from then on. I have given four of these books to friends and am waiting for my copy to arrive to enjoy and to educate me. The breadth of information about angels across the various faiths, as well as the outstanding fold out pictures make this perhaps the best coffee table type book I have ever had. If you love angels you will love them even more when you have this to savour. Buy an extra one as well-it will save on the postage as you will want another one for someone else.The price is amazing too- about half what I paid here even with delivery to my door.

I have been studying Angels for art purposes, and most of the Angel books are unimpressive. This book is the best. Very beautiful. If I was an Angel this is the book I would recommend.

If you are looking for angels - well - this is just a whole lot of glory! Something for the religious, the imaginative, the poetic, the mystical, and the artistic. The structure/presentation of the book is pretty architectural and makes one feel like something very special is in hand. The texts are delightful, some profound, all quite digestible. The thematic arrangement is both instructive and inspiring. A volume to keep about and to return to repeatedly with something new always emerging.

I saw THE GLORY OF ANGELS on a friend's coffee table and admired it. When I got home, I checked the price on Amazon and was amazed that it was quite affordable. This is probably the most beautiful book that I own. The illustrations are exquisite and the copy is exceptionally interesting and well written. I will be purchasing additional copies as gifts for my friends.

This volume is so beautiful, I bought an additional copy to send to my little granddaughters to show them, and tell them about the "angels" who surround them constantly throughout their lives. If a picture is worth a thousand words, then this volume shares thousands of words is the most colorful, and amazing way. A treasure and a keep sake for LIFE!

An absolutely beautiful art survey of angels. I can't believe a book this beautiful could be sold for less than two bucks - even used, or possibly remaindered. The cost of printing must have been astronomical, and the three and four panel fold outs are wonderful. Content also sublime.

Beautiful! Great color printing job. I loved the cover: it is divided in half down the center so when the book is opened it's like opening the front doors to a cathedral. A great accompanying book to "Messages of Glory."

I think the most beautiful art book about angels out there!! It's superb, with a TON of beautiful paintings, sculptures and other representations of angels in high quality print. One of the best art books I've ever seen. It covers artworks from the earliest depictions to more modern interpretations of angels, and everything in-between. Highly recommended to anyone who loves art, or angels, or both. :D

I have never owned such a wonderful book, it is truly sumptious. A lovely binding which opens in the middle like a Palace Door. to the beautiful pages of Angels, some old and some modern. Depicting Angels as they should be, dignified and beautiful.
