Excellent Replica!
This CO2 Pistol by Umarex exceeded my expectations. The build quality is excellent and the dedication to replicating the original is to be commended. It looks and feels exactly like the real H&K VP9 and the blowback feature makes it that much better. I was torn between this model, the APX, the Glock 17 Gen 4 and the Sig Sauer P320. I think I made the right choice. Very satisfied!

H&K enthusiast
I own several H&K's including a VP9 and this is VERY realistic. Not only the look but the weight and feel in your hand. It is a blast to shoot. No it's not super accurate, it's a bb gun. The flaw is the magazine! In the 2 years that i've owned it i'm now having to order my third magazine. Other than that this thing is a ton of fun and as real as I think you could make a H&K bb gun. I would recommend for no other reason than BB's are pennies on the dollar compared to 9mm rounds!

Great Introduction!
I'm completely pleased with this H&K, and I think most would be. It's my first replica BB and intro to the hobby. I bought a Gen 3 Glock 19 at the same time because I could not decide between the two. I carried an M16 and a 1911 in the Army, but otherwise no fire arm experience for 40 years.... so this is a new and fun beginning. Great weight, trigger and decent accuracy. I don't have a Chrono yet, so I can't measure, but even with blowback, it punches hard, with a crisp,"metallic" action, including the blowback. The magazine is as realistic as the rest, as well as the sights. I've mounted a light/red dot combo to add to my fun. I could write more, but everyone hates a looooooooong review....lol, like this one.

Can hardly tell it's fake
Shoots fast and decently accurate, it has good weight and it's hardly distinguishable from the real thing.

Doesn’t work
Item doesn’t wok. After 8 or attempts it shoots then you have keep trying another 9 to 10 times before it will shoot. Wasted several co2 cylinders. Waste of money. You can’t even return it because it doesn’t allow you the option to do that. Very disappointed with this purchase.

Could have been great…
Not sure if it’s a defective gun, or if they are all made like this… but there’s a super noticeable gap under the slide, completely takes away from the whole “replica” deal. Also, again, not sure if it’s just mine or it’s how it’s designed, but the ‘blowback’ is so minor, you can hardly tell it’s going back. Mostly just kinda looks like co2 is spraying out of the gaps when shot. The slide lock feels either broken or super cheaply made, it doesn’t even lock the slide back half the time. I hope they send me one that works better if it is just defective. Apparently it’s not the only one. I saw other reviews talking about the same thing. Also, I’m not sure if it’s just the new way they package the piece, but I’ve watched review videos and they all come in a nice box, from what I’ve seen. Mine came in cheap plastic packaging, similar to what cheap entry level bb handguns come in.I will say I like the slide design where the co2 and bbs are both housed in the clip, vs the older style where the clip looks like a plastic little stick.I really like the vp9 and I’m kind of blown it’s like this. I had held off buying any blowback because of personal financial issues, and finally made the leap and it turned out like this. It makes me weary to purchase any of the other replica models. Almost a hundred bucks isn’t that much, but it’s also not like 5-10 bucks I can spare to shell out on defective products, hoping to get a good one.I hope umarex can reach out and make this right, I have some questions about other models and if this is corrected, I will definitely be more inclined to take that leap and gamble on other models.Summary, if you have the extra money to just toss 80 bucks to the wind and gamble on something that, from the looks of the reviews, 50/50 may or may not show up in perfect working order, then go for it. Because if these defects weren’t a thing, I would definitely give this a 5 star review. The design is pretty and I love the way it feels in my hand. The weight is nice and I can imagine how good it would feel if the blowback actually functioned at 100%.But, if you’re like me and would want to only spend 100 bucks on something you know for a fact is going to show up in perfect working order, I would steer clear of this one. I would suggest if you want this specific model, to figure out where they sell them in-store, that way you can see what you’re buying before shelling out any cash.
