Kauai Hawaii Adventure Guide Franko Maps Waterproof Map

We are very happy with this product and the seller has other quality products in this category. The first things are the coating on the map is flexible and waterproof. The size if also just perfect, easy to take on your trip and it will maintain its shape, no ripping and tearing.

I bought 3 of these maps for an upcoming trip to Hawaii. They are the perfect size, lots of extra detailed information. Easy to mark on with just about any writing utensil. These have already come in very handy for scheduling day trips around each island. I would highly recommend!

This is the typical Franko map with info galore in a very user friendly map of the island.

This was a must have map to get around Kaua'i. Highlights many of them must see spots. The only thing that I would change is if they indicated best times to visit certain spots. We had a couple spots we visited where certain times of the day where better to go due to fog in the afternoon, the tide, Na Poli coast you need to get their in the morning before 9am for parking and to get out early enough to avoid traffic etc. So check best times to go before you go, is my advice. These side notes aside we had this map everyday and it helped us navigate the island and pick our must do spots.

Perfect size easy to fold nicely laminated very durable we used it every day. Lots of helpful tips and locations of neat things to do and see.

I didn't buy a guide book but found everything I was looking for with this and the Map of Kauai the Garden Isle: Reference Maps of the Islands of Hawaii (which I also recommend). Used it to work my way from beach to beach around the island. The waterproof paper was nice and kept it from tearing easily, a problem I find with a lot of maps. Also allowed me to take it out on my paddleboard when I was exploring. This one was even hanging in the room of the Bed and Breakfast where I stayed. Looked good on the wall too.

Very happy to have this map. Cell service is spotty on the island so we really relied on this map to get us around. Plus, we used for lots of points of interest we hadn’t considered. It was also enjoyable to go “old school” and use a paper map. We found this very well worth it.

Not only does this map accurately provide towns and sites in Kauai, but it also provides great education in the map borders. So much info that the font size is a little on the email side, but all good.
