Excellent acoustic guitar!
I'm not sure why the other review is so negative so I thought I'd add my opinion. First, the build quality is top notch, the finish, action, and hardware are some of the best I've seen. Onto the sound, it has such a sweet voice that is extremely responsive. The rosewood and body shape provide the fullness and bass of a larger dreadnought. The mids are full and round with nice sparkling highs. It's not as bright as a Sitka top, but it's not supposed to be. I will admit it sounds better when played fingerstyle vs. with a pick, but that may be because it responds so well to the lightest touch and that sound is addicting. It even comes with a great hardshell case, and visually the inlay work and finish is stunning in person. I have several other acoustics from Martin, Alvarez, Washburn, and even another Chinese made breedlove, this one is king of the group by far. If you have a chance to buy one, do it! With proper care, I expect this to last a lifetime and then some. Thanks Breedlove for making such an amazing guitar!

well that was interesting
The redwood-rosewood combo produces a very loud, but lifeless sound. Tested out two of these and both sounded horrid. Made well, bad sound. Would recommend looking elsewhere in the Breedlove lineup.
