About 60% through the anthology, but I just wanted to point out that Lewis Shiner's Soldier, Sailor is not one bit cyberpunk, but 100% classic scifi. There is absolutely no way it should have been included in this collection. Apart from its author, there is no connection to the gritty, corporate world of envisioned in the 80s-90s, that we so often relate with cyberpunk. The short story is rather an experimental piece about colonization of Mars and human condition. Only after reading I checked the year it was written, which was 1976, which partly explains why the story feels so different from the rest of the collection.Check for yourself, as the author generously has it available on his website:[...]

A good read
Book has more pages than I initially expected so a larger volume than you might assume. Good stories. Starts off with Johnny Mnemonic, so it was nice to read the original story that inspired the Keanu Reeves starring movie. Thumbs up.

Great collection of stories in a very relevant and intriguing sub-genre of science fiction. Its a sub-genre that has had perhaps the most relevance on today's world, and the predictions given in cyberpunk don't ring too far from the truth of life in the early 20th century. The first story by William Gibson, the undisputed emperor of cyberpunk, is set in the same universe as "Neuromancer" and I enjoyed it quite a bit. Check it out!

Good mid of stories
The later stories got really in depth and I enjoyed them a lot. Quite a mix of stories. Have fun

Almost all good stories
The only story here not worth reading is from bruce Sterling, sad to say. The others were quite strong, and for me it was my first time to come across the novella "Mr. Boy" which was worth the price of the entire collection.

A great anthology of cyberpunk short fiction
This is a great collection. It contains both some of the classic stories of the genre and other material which I had not read previously, all very well written. I would recommend this to both newcomers to the genre and dedicated fans.

Very absorbing collection
I like the way the stories took you in different directions of potential future states. Some seemed to finish too soon just as I was getting my head around the bigger picture and could imagine greater depth of story. I found quite a lot of application to real life scenarios especially in the older stories. Overall absorbing and inspiring.

Cyberpunk
Short stories of hardware evolution wetware many futuristic stuff. Some of them were far fetched, seemed hard to visualise. Quite comical. But not.
