My 2 year old daughter has seen me play on my electric drum set, and once she got this set it was a natural fit. Great sound, easy to put together. The pads work great and I'm surprised how responsive they are for a toy. She loves all the pre-programmed songs and plays along with all of them. The mic is quite a powerful little thing, and is just an ordinary 3.5mm jack. Can't find any of my spare mics to see how well the set would take it. On my to-do sure.Overall if you're looking for a toy drum set, i'd say you can't go wrong with this one.

This is a really cool toy. I got it for my son about a year ago when he turned 2 and he is still using it. He loves playing the drums, and not that he is a little older he enjoys singing into the mic too. This toy is super popular when we have other kids over (ages from 2-9 years old). What I love about it as a mom? It's that I can always take the batteries out if I get tired of the drumming ;) Never had to do it though. The one complain I have is that the mic is not that great. This can be a great gift to any toddler.

My son really enjoys this drum set. I have not had any issues with it and I have had it for about a month or so. It still works. The volume control is great (as long as your kid don't know how to control it LOL), It's sturdy enough for it to be safe, as long as your child isn't climbing and sitting all on it, it will stand as it should and so will the chair. The microphone is nice and loud...however you do have to be close up on the microphone to really hear anything, so I suggest if others kids (or adults) will be playing with it, that you keep it wiped and clean.

The microphone wasn't sensitive enough to pick anything up unless it was nearly in my children's mouth. But other than that the quality seems good. This thing has taken a pounding from my kids and kept working

My 2.5 yo son enjoys music and he loves to sing. This was his late Christmas gift that arrived 1 month late by the seller, but I received it within 2 days after they were notified.It has adjustable volume, a few songs to play with, and a very cute stool (but not for heavy/big kids). It might break. My son is 30 lbs. The little microphone is ok. You can't hear it well, but it is good to have for pretend play. Very easy to assemble. You need 3 AA batteries (not included).

I bought this for my 2 1/2 year old daughter who wanted a drum set. She loves sitting down at a real drum set and loves the cymbals. I was afraid that getting her a plastic drum set would be a disappointment for her (she's very particular). However, it took about five minutes or less to set it up, and she immediately began playing it and absolutely loved it. Comes with some loaded songs that you can play along to, and can also change the drum pads to play electronic fun sounds. The bass pedal works well, the drum pads work well, the cymbal sounds like a cymbal, and it even has a place to hold the sticks when finished. She also likes the built in mic.Just overall very please with this product.

This is a hit with my 2 1/2 year old granddaughter and is a great size for her. It all works very well, and I was impressed with the clarity and available volume of the microphone. She loves hearing herself and is rockin' out! Very happy with this purchase - the quality and the price.

This was bought for my daughter for her first birthday and she loved it! Her birthday is in July and now in October (3 months later) the drum set is not working properly. If you turn it on, it automatically starts drumming on it's own and acting crazy like there is a wiring problem. Really disappointed since this was one of her favorite toys.
