Hacker Techniques, Tools, and Incident Handling

I opted to spend more to get the physical book to go with the lab, and I am glad I did. I have a feeling that the ebook would've driven me batty. The physical book is well laid out. For anyone looking at getting any Jones and Bartlett course, AVOID THE EBOOKS. They look like they are put together by a 5 year old and you were required to be logged online on their website to access the book, so no offline access. This was a lesson I learned the hard way with my previous Biology course. This book is required for my Cybersecurity course and I just don't have time for that level of frustration.

The book covers cyber security topics and the Labs provide good hands on training. Overall, this book is great for anyone looking to learn about cyber security.

A good intro to some of the fundamentals of digital security. Not much new for me personally, but a pleasant surprise as a text for class. A great starting point for anyone serious about learning some of the all round basics.

I love this book to learn a step further in computer defense.

Decent book that revisits the basics. When your too good for the basics, it's time for a new job

I bought this book for class. From what I could see, the -reason- it's such a great deal is due to the fact that the lab is not included. For information on the lab, copy the ISBN# and visit jblearning.com & search for it. Select the lab option, and therein lies the true cost of this courseware.I've emailed the publisher in hopes of obtaining an access code, however, I'm upset to say the least.

The pages are incorrect. The ebook is formatted with the font size and spacing so when you zoom in, it is changing the font size (there is no actual zoom). Additionally, the format is very unpleasant to follow.

Not happy with this purchase. This is the first time that I have to pay custom duty on buying a book in the Canadian Amazon website. Amazon should have notify us about this possibility.
