This little guy is kind of expensive, yes.However it it sturdy and I expect it'll last forever.I do hate flimsy shoe racks, and this one is not.I love its narrow profile and its expandability.

Only reason I didn’t give this 5 stars is because the assembly instructions were a little confusing. Otherwise I’m soooo happy about this purchase! My husband and I struggled with keeping our entryway tidy and this shoe rack really helped. Thinking about buying another for our closet.

It’s definitely slightly overpriced, but still well worth it. We had a weird tiny nook in a small apartment and this thing has fit the bill perfectly. Expandable size will make it useful in different applications down the road. Super shallow but still holds shoes well. Really happy I bit the bullet and spent the money.

Fasten 8 screws and you're done

I needed a small shoe rack for a small area where we throw our shoes when we come into our apartment. It always looked messy with shoes on top of each other. Now looks organized with this small adjustable rack!! Very easy to assemble! Was scared to buy because a previous review said screws didn’t fit but mine fit well and perfectly!!

This rack is just what I needed, and it's only just been put to use today, but it seems sturdy enough. Honestly, though, for this price, you really should make the screws just a little longer. Putting it together would be SO MUCH EASIER!

I needed a narrow, shallow rack to keep a few pairs of shoes behind my front door. When the door is opened, it would contact any rack deeper than 6-inches (at the left front). This was the only model that I could find that would fit in my tight space. I ordered a black unit from Amazon and they shipped me a white model. Apparently, the Amazon site had the description and the photos backwards, so I could have probably gotten the black unit if I ordered the one with the white picture. After about 45 minutes with Amazon customer service, they finally figured out the problem and offered a return but said that if I ordered a replacement, the wrong color would probably ship again. I decided to keep the white unit instead. I contacted Yamazaki about the page problem and they said that they would look into it. That was 2 days ago and it looks like they fixed the site to correct this problem.The unit was shipped in a small retail box. Assembly was easy. Despite what other reviews have said, the screws were long enough. The finish was a white power coat steel...very nice. I'm surprised that there was no set screw to fix the width. There is a red pencil line to tell you when it's opened at its max width, but will easily fall apart if pulled further. Not a problem for me since I have it closed to the most narrow position.Because of the narrow space behind my door, I must angle the shoes to open the door all the way. If there was more space, I would probably have gotten a deeper rack and held the shoes straight. But, this works for me.It's a little pricey, but for my needs the only rack that would fit.

I am a no shoes household, and I needed a shoe rack for a small area in my foyer where I planned to keep shoes. This rack fits the space, keeps the shoes neat and compliments my decor.
