Good replacement at fair price.
This unit is used to control the speed of tje cabin heater/cooler blower. If your control switch doesn't work on settings 1,2 or 3 but still works on 4, you will need to replace it. This one is slightly smaller behind the socket mount than the original but seems to work fine. It can be replaced by DIYer but be warned it is an extremely fiddly and frustrating fix. The blower is buried deep under the dash. You need to remove the fuseboard and glovebox to get at it. Took me about 90mins and a range of hex keys. God knows what an autoelectrian would charge to replace it.

Fits perfectly, fixes loss of blower speeds
Arrived very quickly in a small box. Took about 25 minutes to replace most of which is spent removing/replacing the glove box. Blower speed 1 & 2 now working again as were not. Fitted to a 2008 facelift 1.6 petrol zetec focus.

Focus Mk2 heater fan speed faulty?
Great service. Ordered on a Saturday afternoon, recieved on the Sunday. Used to repair focus Mk2 heater fan not working on speed 1 or 2. Quick low cost alternative to garage bill.

A replacement for a part that was replaced under warranty by Ford. Easy enough to fit . Ford part lasted about a year. Hopefully this will last longer.

Failed again after 5 months
I bought on of these to replace the fan resistor in my 2014 Fiesta ST. The heater fan was not working on positions 2/3/4 and it was a fairly easy task to replace the resistor. However, the problem came back after just 5 months. It looks like it's worth paying extra for the OEM version.

Fixed the problem in about 10 mins
Blower was only working on setting 4. Took about 10 mins to install with a screwdriver and Torx bit. A bit fiddly but that’s Ford’s fault. Not sure how long it will last, but again the poor reliability of this system is Ford’s fault. I think this is the third replacement on a 6 year old car.

funciono 5 minutos
Despues de instalarlo en el ford focus mk 2 (esta escondida detras el filtro de pollen de la cabina a lado del pedales) funciono 5 minutos, antes la segunda esquina ya no funciono. Premium de mala calidad.
