The Everyman's Eliot!
I am still readin this and very into it. This book is great to just flip through from time to time. Some really great poetical/lyrical inspiration throughout. The size is perfect for traveling around with. Must have!

People in the present century will never be this freaking old (we hear CREEP)
People who were expecting to have their future in coffee spoons might be surprised by a rodeo clown society that tells Hamlet YO MOMMA is so fat, ugly, and stupid she thinks she rules like you people are thinking all together alike hell.

Many important poems are missing from this selection.
Caveat emptor: nothing later than 1922 in this collection - i.e. nothing from 'The Hollow Men', 'Ash-Wednesday', 'Ariel' poems, the Four Quartets, etc. etc. A seriously deficient selection.

Damaged cover!
I preferred this book NEW, but it arrived with the cover torn, quite torn. I’m very disappointed. Otherwise I would have given this book a five star rating!

Beautiful little book
I imagine that people will start collecting these as they did the original Everyman copies. It is beautifully produced, and my only small reservation is that on the spine it is very hard to distinguish the poet's name. Same with the Emily Dickinson. A sacrifice of practicality for beauty?

Beautiful book
Beautiful book, Eliot is one of my favourite poets and I thought I’d get it for a friend! Now I need it too.
