A little large, but GREAT for work
The waist of these pants runs way large. You have to wear a belt or if not you’ll lose them. But I LOVE the quality of the fabric and the cut. These pants are not made to try to be super cute. They are made for work and I feel they are absolutely perfect for that. I bought a pair in every color and recommended them to friends who also work construction. Also, the tall length is really for tall girls. I’m 6’0 and they fit me perfectly!! Very pleased!

Way way way too small in very important areas
I wear a size 14 regular in jeans pretty comfortably. I ordered a size 16 in dickey's. But they fit like a size 12.Issues: they don't fit the hips comfortably. There's loose fabric right at the back to show off the top part of your butt apparently, but they squeeze on the hip sides. Yet they still manage to slip down with any sort of regular movement. I'm doing work in the automotive industry so there's a lot of movement. The crotch area is pretty tight. It bunches up and squeezes in all the wrong ways. Yes I am talking about the dreaded squeeze that I will not mention but I'm sure you can imagine. Keep in mind I ordered a size larger than I normally wear. It also holds my butt pretty tightly I'd like a little more room. I don't want to swim in the fabric but I also am not in a competition to show off my assets.Lastly, there is way too much fabric at the bottom. I've seen some guys cuff their pants but these look ridiculous cuffed. Naturally when you've been down the whole thing slips. I've ordered a size 18 to try to correct the problems but I think it's probably going to be worse than before.Stay tuned compadres.

You May Want to Order a Size Up if You Have Any Junk in Your Trunk
I love these pants. I love them so much, I decided to get some Dickies in a slim fit for daily use. The leg holes in this pair are large enough to fit over a pair of boots shaped like Uggs. They cover the boot smoothly and without looking bulky. I ordered a size 14 which is usually my size in regular stretchy jeans. I could have ordered a 16 if I wanted a little room in the waist (I am 5'9" and about 190) but I think I will just lose a couple pounds and make it work. It is only the absence of stretchy material that makes the 14 a wee bit tight. The crotch seems a tiny bit shorter than my usual pants, so if you have a longer measurement in that area, maybe buy one size up. They make my butt look GREAT. I didn't have the shrinking problem described by others. I washed the pants and put them on when they were still warm from the dryer, causing them to form very nicely to my figure. A cute pair of slim-fit Dickies are going to kick some serious butt in Colorado winter weather when I am taking out trash and chasing down dogs.

Great work pant
I am 5’9” and weigh 175. I normally wear an 11/12 Tall pant, but was concerned with shrinkage, so I ordered a size 14 Tall. When they came in, they were HUGE, but I opted to not return them and hoped they’d shrink in the wash. Voila! Wish granted! They shrank enough that the hips are perfect - not too tight and not too loose. The waist is still about 5”-6” too big, but there are enough belt loops that once I put my belt on the gap was closed and the bunching is minimal and barely noticeable. The waist is not contoured like a woman’s body; it is straight and that’s probably why the hips fit and the waist is too big. If you are not curvy, they may fit you better. I have bigger hips and a smaller waist, so there’s quite a bit of discrepancy. I did not notice any shrinkage in length. I also did not need to iron the pants and the material is very sturdy yet, flexible. If you are not at least 5’9” I would not recommend the Tall length. I like my pants slightly longer because I wear them with work/tactical boots, so the length is perfect. If I was wearing them with dress shoes they would be too long. I will be purchasing more of these.

Not really a "women's fit"
Good: The fabric seems sturdy and it doesn't fade. I machine wash them (in unfortunately very hard water) and then line dry them, but they've withstood the dryer too.Bad: The fabric has zero stretch and is so stiff that it prevents me from bending over fully while working. If I try, I show major plumbers crack - these pants are low-rise and sit across your hips, not your natural waist. The hips and thighs are disproportionately tight compared to the loose waistband, and the side pockets flare out instead of sitting flat. The men's Dickies fit way better. I have the women's cut in original and slim, various sizes, and none of them have ever fit right. I want to see the woman that these were designed for!

My go favorite work pants
Yes when you first get them they are stiff. But after a few wears and washes they are sooo comfortable. I’ve worn this brand and style for the last 7/8 years. I also love that they are a low/med rise. I don’t l like my pants to touch my stomach I find it very uncomfortable. I have a few pairs in each color. The pockets are also more functional than the typical women’s pants but could be a little deeper.Great for food service jobs and jobs that require you to move a lot or crawl on the floor occasionally.

Great pants
I really like these pants. The fit is slightly large but nothing a belt can’t fix. I’m 5’8 and usually a size 6 fits well but these are loose in the waist. Still great pants and they do not wrinkle which is a total bonus.

Not made for people with a butt
Too bad these didn't fit as hoped. The material and overall cut were completely satisfactory and exactly what I would expect from classic Dickies pants. Unfortunately my shapely butt ruined everything. Since the material had to stretch over my butt, it was missing in the front and really cut into my stomach whenever I bent over or tried to sit down. I'm really disappointed since I especially bought the pants a size bigger than normal. Had I bought them in an even larger size though, I would have had a huge gap in the bag with no more space in the front. I got the 44, which is a size 12 regular.
