An easy-to-use, classic product that works well!
I recently made the decision to start using hair gel for a more polished look, and I was astonished at the number of options out there! I wanted something that wasn't too expensive (such as American Crew, which isn't really THAT expensive but is still a bit pricey), had good hold (I have pretty thick hair, and I have a Great Gatsby-type of haircut), and wasn't hard to wash out at the end of the day (like Murray's Pomade). After looking through my many options, I settled for Groom N' Clean! It meets all of the above criteria, and after a couple weeks of daily use, I'm satisfied! It wasn't very expensive, at just $6 or so, has pretty good hold (for a formal hairstyle like mine, it holds all day, but definitely looks a bit less shiny and organized a few hours after applying). For thick hair like mine, you'll definitely have to use more than normal, but it's very easy to apply (just wet your hair a bit, squirt some in your hands, work it through your hair, and comb it as desired!) and doesn't take much time. And of course, as a water-based gel, it's easy a pie to wash it out at the end of the day! The one downside of this gel is that you won't get as strong of a hold as, say Murray's Pomade, but it compensates for that by being easily washed out (as opposed to many pomades, which can take a few washes to get rid of completely). The scent of this gel is also pretty good, and isn't too strong. Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase! I recommend this to anyone who has a formal type of haircut and wants a product that's easy to use, easy to wash out, and looks great.

Nothing really ill to say.
This product is kind of amazing. For quite a while I've been looking for some sort of product to use regularly that has good hold, is versatile, and gives my hair shine for particular occasions. I originally purchased this because I needed something to replicate a hair look for a costume. After seeing a review elsewhere, I thought I'd give it a try. The first day I used this, people constantly asked me what I had done with my hair and if I cut it, such was the change. I've got shoulder length hair, and this is capable of holding it in most any reasonable situation, given the right amount. It stands up to just about anything you throw at it, assuming you hit it with enough. First day I used it, the only thing that could unseat its hold was playing football in huge amounts of Chicago wind. This will do the job for you. It gives your hair a shiny sleek look, almost oily, but leaves it soft to the touch with great hold. It even smells inoffensive. The only thing this can't really help you with is different texturing or extreme styles. I tried doing something extreme with it for the sake of testing, and it was just okay. It's really cheap too, comparatively.

It is not greasy
This product works well. The scent is very light, that is why I gave it two stars. The products I looked at in the local drugstores were either greasy or made your hair hard like plaster. Groom and Clean give a rather light hold and if your hair gets blown about a damp comb reactivates and puts your hair back in shape. Very pleased...

Great hair product!
Have been using Groom and Clean for years and wouldn't even think of using anything else. Goes on clean without the greasy feel. Washes right out in the shower. Like everything else, prices have increased, but something I can live with for now.

Groom and Clean
I am new to pomades and creams, I previously tried Brylcream and love it and this was my second product tried. I do like the scent, and application is a learning experience as to how much to use. I particularly like how easy the hair is to manage, I like having a soft, yet somewhat firm hold without a greasy feel of too much product and to stiff like hairspray/moose/gel. I have found a pretty good combination for my hair (I have much less than my younger days lol). For what hair I have left I usually receive compliments on how cool/nice my hair looks and it is somewhat easier now to achieve the look I like with a combination of Groom & Clean and Murray's Superior Hair Dressing Pomade, or Brylcreem by itself. I use about the size of a nickel of Groom & Clean and a very small amount of Murry's to hold it all in place (about the size of a pencil head eraser). I find that this leaves my hair feeling: great, soft, clean, smells nice, not too greasy, and holds pretty decent. Due to my recent experience of creams and pomades, I will finish what I have left of the gel and convert until all the rest of the hair is gone to creams and pomades. Hope I helped.

Absolutely love Groom & Clean
Absolutely love Groom & Clean! I also usually go for a Mad Men kind of hair style, I part my hair and comb Groom and Clean through it, and it gives me a nice hold without overdoing it, and leaves my coarse, dry hair feeling soft. It's not like a hair gel or mouse, which leaves your hair sticky and hardened, with a bunch of gunk to clean out. Groom and Clean is a very light product, and isn't greasy, but still gives you that wet look when you use it with water. It is more flexible than any gel or cream, allowing you to restyle your hair if you mess it up, unlike gel, which hardens and stiffens. It has a pleasant manly scent, which is awesome, and gives your hair a great hold without being greasy and easily rinses out. Absolutely love it!
