The media could not be loaded.  I recently got into home-brewing and bought 6 kegs from a friend--knowing that 3 had leaky lids, and none had release valves. The defect in those lids was where the release valve would be if it had one.I purchased 3 of these lids to replace the leaky ones. I used Keg Lube on both the large O-ring and the small O-ring on the release valve. Two lids worked fine, but one leaked at the release valve. (See video.) Re-screwing or otherwise adjusting the release valve did not fix the problem.I returned the leaky one and bought 4 more since I did like the idea of having release valves on all my kegs. When I got those 4, one of them also leaked in the same way. (Reviews only let you post one video, but both basically look the same anyway.)I'm again exchanging one and have fingers crossed that the new one will not be defective. I'd give a higher rating if I didn't have a 30% defect rate.

I needed a replacement for an old Corny Lid that had a broken valve. There is always a concern with Corny Kegs for me because the lid sizes seem to vary just a little bit...It was packaged securely and arrived in the promised time. Great construction and has worked flawlessly for over 6 months now!I have this lid saved and will be ordering more in the future.At this price I have wondered why I even buy replacement Gasket kits! Less than half of what my local homebrew store charges.

This lid is unlikely to seal without keg pressure. The lever does not produce enough force to seal the lid unless pressurized. Also, the brackets that support the lever are rather flimsy. When I wash my kegs, I like to set them upside down to soak for a couple minutes. That isn’t possible with these lids.The valve is very difficult to pull open. The included pull ring is too flimsy to pull it. It bends when pulled. I replaced the ring with a keychain ring.I did manage to seal this lid with keg pressure. When I relieved the pressure, the lid started to leak. The lid will not stay seated in a sealed position without keg pressure. That will make purging air difficult when filling a keg. I’m undecided if I’m better off with these lids, or my original lids that don’t have pull valves.

I have converted all my Pin lock keg covers to this pressure release still. Great fit and well built product.

Seems to work. I think my keg is bent, so still not sealing as well as I'd like. Lid seems good though.

Works as designed

More than sufficient for the task. Decent quality and fits perfectly. Not quite OEM, but good enough.
