I tried all different c code for this, nothing gives a definite value, just some random values mostly 0.

Works well with ESP8266 inside a damp water tank
I bought to of these to monitor water level in two water storage tanks at my farm. Both have worked well to these date. I observed that this sensor is a little noisy. The sensor randomly reports the water height a little above actual level. It does not seem to work well if the surface on which it is mounted vibrates even lightly. I wrote a smoother function in software to overcome this problem. Well worth the money I spent.
