Dual Port USB Car Charger with Audio Socket USB Charging for Digital Cameras/Mobile Devices for Toyota

This was not what I really wanted and returned it.

Fits great in 2014 Toyota Hilux, not the quality I was expecting

Used this for a 2005 4Runner to connect an aftermarket Apple CarPlay and Android Auto head- unit media cable for an OEM look, it fits into the spare sockets where you can connect your phone to.After a few months the internal plastics became brittle and the inside tabs broke, resulting in the USB ports becoming loose, had to use some super glue to make the insides supported again.The charge rate for the ports also is very low especially if you are connected to CarPlay.

Installed into my 2008 FJ Cruiser to connect my phone to Pioneer head unit. Enables me to cleanly use Apple Car Play. Fits very well. As others have stated, unit is shiny black plastic but doesn’t stand out too badly. Is also wired for power but I didn’t integrate that part yet. No instructions on where the best point for 12V keyed power is.

I have a Sony aftermarket radio that works with a usb cord but will not work with this part.Power port works great but no data.

The USB Line that connects to my vehicle stereo works fine. However, the other USB the connects to 12 volt did not work. The problem is that I put the dash together before I realized that it was not working! Very frustrating product.EDIT- I was able to get the charging socket to work as well. Rating changed to a 5!

Calidad vs precio

Unit looks good and usb charging port works fine. USB audio connection didn’t work with Apple CarPlay unit.

Snug fit, plenty cable and does what it says on the description.

Brought for my Hilux mk7 2014 , fits well with the cost and fast delivery. Over all perfect for the job

Haven’t tried Android Auto but Apple CarPlay does not work :(
