Giant Jungle Val | Vallisneria Gigantea Potted Freshwater Live Aquarium Plant BUY2GET1FREE

I have had these jungle vallisneria for a couple weeks now and they are already growing baby plants! The roots were trimmed very short as expected after reading other reviews; only one plant gave me trouble staying down but I loosely wrapped a weight around the crown to hold it down. I gently pulled the weight off a couple days ago because the roots are now long enough to stay in the substrate. The plants have also already grown a few inches in this short of time.

I ordered a lot of plants from this company, all of which came super healthy! Except for this plant. These seemed like they were struggling as soon as I got them and they never bounced back. I would still order from this company but I would not order these again. I gave it three stars because all of my other plants were so healthy and thriving....just not this one.

Did the buy 2 get one free. Plants were barely 4 or 5 inches tall, nothing like the picture or description. They had been hacked down. The free plant looks like a throwaway they included and looks mostly dead. Low quality. I'll be lucky if any of this garbage lives. Don't waste your money. I learned my lesson the expensive way. Never again.

When they arrived many blades were broken and dead. Roots were very short. I trimmed dead blades and planted. Much to my surprise some have greened up and I have hope they will survive. I may be to blame. We hit an unusual hot week when they arrived and I had neglected to put ice on the shipping address. But I don't think that that would have caused the blades to be broken and dead. They haven't grown any yet but some are green.

Order came pretty fast for standard. The Val looks great and healthy. Recommend.

broke into several individual plants allowing me to plant into different tanks. Every planting started growing and expanding. I have co2 in my tanks so I can not testify for non co2 tanks, but i am thinking they will grow anywhere. they will grow 2 + ft but if you cut them below surface they still look natural.

Falling apart in my take & not growing well

The plants arrived in okay condition. Ordered on or about the 11th of April, arrived on the 17th of April. Difficult to keep planted, especially with bottom dwelling fish (Cory cats, yo yo loaches, and a large Pleco). I’m hoping they develop a strong enough root system in the next two weeks to hold them in place.The plants were decent size; about 8” in length (see photos). I ordered the buy two get one free and received 8 total plants.The next couple of weeks will tell the story. Hoping for the best.
