Decent
Looks great and keeps the beer cold. I turn it all the way up and it is not freezing cold and I wish the light would turn on remotely or a timer but you have to press the button for a turn on and doesn't turn off

The fridge works great, but the shelf designer needs to be fired.
It's quiet, looks nice, and keeps beverages cold. The shelves, on the other hand, are atrocious. Whoever designed them needs to be fired. The cross supports for each of the wire shelfs are on top, so trying to set drinks on them is annoying and uneven. The also are spaced too tight together with lips on the front, so its hard to get beverages in and out, especially on the bottom.

Poor Manufacturer support. Fridge stopped working after 3 months
This fridge stopped working after 3 months. Amazon will no longer accept a return and stated to contact the manufacturer for a warranty claim. So far, Newair has not been very helpful. Issues have been:1. Owners manual instructs to contact a dead-link (non-existenr) email for warranty issues. With effort, found a different email address from company website2. Newair response is a non-personal copy-and-paste set of troubleshooting instructions. Customer needs to troubleshoot the problem for themselves3. Instructions don't match the product. For example, step 2 states that the customer is to unscrew two screws for the backplate. There are no screws and there is no backplate4. Instructions are not descriptive. They say to remove a temperature sensor, but don't describe what the sensor looks like5. Customer should not have to troubleshoot a defective product in the first place.Avoid Newair products.

Happy with this little fridge
Arrived quickly and fits perfectly in the space I needed it. We converted a modular entertainment center from the 80’s into built in cabinets with a little bar. Drinks are cold and we are very pleased so far with the fridge. Drinks I. The back get very cold on setting 6, and there is only a little ice buildup.

Actual capacity is 45 cans
While I love the convenience of always having an ice cold Coke, this beverage fridge has some quirks you should be aware of.1. The capacity is not as stated. You cannot use the top shelf as shown in the stock photo because your cans are too close to the part that develops ice. They will freeze and burst, as shown in my photo. This made an enormous mess. Likewise, the second shelf needs a gap of about 3 inches between the last can and back of fridge for the same reason. The third shelf has a raised, solid shelf/ledge about half way back into the fridge. You could tilt a can on its side, but you’re only going to add a few more cans to the overall capacity this way while being hard to access.2. The packaging the fridge came in was disappointing. As you can see in my photo, the plastic dome cover that fits over the motor was broken in two upon arrival. This hasn’t caused any issues, but it could easily have been taped in to prevent damage in shipping. Another odd thing was how the door arrived fully screwed in...but only on the bottom. So you have to disassemble the bottom screw mount to make room for the top latch to fit. I’m not sure why you wouldn’t either fully secure the door or have it completely separate. Thankfully I was very careful in removing the fridge from the box, otherwise the door could easily have bent or shattered due to only having the bottom part attached.3. I really wish the guard rail on the bottom shelf was either removable or shorter. There’s not much space to maneuver your hand in to grab a can. The third shelf also slides out very easily, so you have to hold it in place while reaching in between the shelf and guard rail. What I love about the fridge is the ability to free up room in your regular refrigerator and always be able to grab an ice cold soda. Even with the less-than-advertised capacity, I can go a couple weeks without refilling which is great. The fridge is relatively compact so it can fit in a small pantry closet. The light is also a nice touch. There’s a built-in lock for those with children. You can also change the side where the door is mounted if you choose.

Pretty good for the price
I would have given this a five star rating, but when you reverse the door (which is advertised as a feature), you can no longer use the built in door lock, the logo/text is upside-down and looks weird, and the inlaid door handle is out-of-reach. It still works fine, it's just not ideal. The sides of the fridge get pretty hot when getting to temperature, but that's to be expected.

Would Recommend
Using this as a beer fridge in my basement and it's plenty cold. When turned up all the way there's even some icing on machine. Flipping the light switch each time is kind of annoying, it would be nice if it turned on automatically but this product fits everything I was looking for. Would recommend.

Newair Claims a loud high pitch is "normal"
After about 2 months, the high pitch compressor noise becomes very loud. Loud enough where I can't be in the same room with it for more than a few minutes. I contacted the company and sent them a recording of the noise. They said it was "normal". If that noise is normal, I have no choice but to rate this one star.It also can't cool to 34 degrees as advertised. At the coldest setting it gets to about 41, but that causes the back wall to ice up so it needs to be at a warmer setting to prevent ice. The temperature difference also varies a lot from the top to the bottom. Drinks closer to the top get colder especially if the fridge is full. That's generally a sign a poor insulation, which causes the compressor to run more often, which causes ice.I thought the ice might have caused the high pitch noise, so I unplugged the unit for a few days to let it defrost. The noise came back right away when I plugged it back in.
