Great buy!
Wonderfully prolific, produced baby plants in abundance from the parent plant, attracting hundreds of bees.

Germinated
I'm happy that the seeds germinated and are busy growing. I don't have any pictures yet. It's too early yet.

They do sprout
The germination was pretty good. I directly sowed into the ground and got at least 1/4 of them to sprout.

Not so lucky so far
So far I have not had any success growing these seeds outside. I still have some and I will try them in my hydro planter.

May Need to over-seed
I planted first in a seed bed with pretty ideal growing conditions, but zero seeds germinated. I then planted in seed trays ... 25% germination. There's enough seeds so that this will be ok ... but i'd hoped for better germination.

Pretty flowers; good companion plant
I still have seeds leftover and the ones that I grew with my plants last year are starting to take over....so I'd say the seeds were worth it. I got these as companion plants for my tomatoes and the flowers are quite pretty. I saw lots of bees around my garden as well (I can't say it was just because of the borage, but they definitely didn't deter the pollinators from coming around). I will say borage plants are a little prickly on the stems so you may want to wear gloves any time you're handling them.
