Family loves this set, better than others - but will scratch itself, use a separator.
We have 19' ultra light camper that we pull with a minivan. We could go larger/heavier but wanted to teach the kids a minimal lifestyle when camping (yes, I know campers are glamping by most purist measures) and we just don't have a need for a truck. With a very limited weight capacity, we really need to chose what we bring in the camper very carefully. This Texsport set is just perfect.Prior to this set, we had a 5 piece set from wal store made by ozark trail. We were happy with that set, but after two seasons, the Teflon coating wore off. So I did a bit of research and not only did the Texsport set come with two extra pieces (a smaller pot and matching lid/frying pan) but it was cheaper!!So we ordered it, and it was the same quality as the ozark trail set, but with the extra pans (the smaller of the three). It's downright luxurious to have three pots, three pans that nest into each other and weigh just a couple pounds.AND BONUS... our ozark trail set's handle fits the Texsport set. So now we have two handles!Note: the bottom of the pans and pots do have a raised concentric circles edges for grip while on a burner. This same grip edge will scratch the Teflon off the larger pans if the pans are nested together without anything separating them. I cut two round cardboard pieces from the box that we replace each time we store the set. The bumps of hauling the camper will cause the smaller pans to scratch the lower/larger pans. Now that I'm writing this, I should probably put some cardboard between the top pans (lids) too.As far as light, nesting aluminum pans sets go, this is the best one we've used. I don't expect this set to last beyond two seasons either with cooking three meals a day for 40 days each season, but it's still worth the price. Note that we always use a cooking spray. Just easier. I'll probably order two more sets and hoard them just in case I can't get them in the future.

Decent set for camping.
Used many times camping. Sucks if you lose the handle in the dark, but it has held up well and the hardware is all intact still, not loose or rusting. They’re easy to clean, but if you cook with them incorrectly (like some idiots did a few months ago with mine), the bottoms will turn black when placed over to much fire… That’s common sense though and some people just don’t know how to cook over a campfire. Lol There are lighter weight, even better sets for back country hiking/camping, but we haven’t bothered with that yet, as we’ve just been base camping for vacations. They work perfectly for that. It’s been a while and we have gone camping roughly 7 or 8 times since I bought these and I am in no hurry to replace them. If I buy more they’ll simply be a different set for long distance backpacking, but these I’m going to keep for base camping. Quite pleased.

PERFECT - - - for MY NEEDS
Hey . . . It's light weight AND "affordable" (cheap) ! !PERFECT for ME for backpacking. I take sturdier, heavier, more expensive cookware when car camping cause I cook for more people AND they get abused.I choose just a few of these to take for the meals I am planning so the weight is not an issue and I have great fexibility in what I can have for great meals. These DO require carefull care or they can be expected to dent and wear much worse than your $300 kitchen set.Mine look and work very good. I only use plastic implements and even then gently . . . and wash them carefully . . . and use "blue" paper towels inside to protect the non-stick.Watch your fire ! ! You can easily over heat these. It really doesn't take much to cook with. They DON'T work on induction stoves - they're aluminum.NOTE: The handle may be difficult to insert at first. After inserting the handle, gently squeeze it closed a few times and it will "shape" the receiver on the pan to fit the handle much better. My only wish . . . . is for lighter weight handle and more of them. Amazon recommends the DiamondBack Pot Gripper by GSI.

Awesome camping set
This camping cookware set is awesome! Love how stackable they are for storage. The nonstick is good and easy to clean. The pans are also fairly light weight. The only complaint I have is that I want another handle, this only comes with one so I ordered another handle from a different company.

Great Base Camping Set
I have purchased another teflon coated set that is smaller and meant for backpacking. It was from a much more well known company. This set is bigger. Meant for Base or Car Camping. This could do for several people.Quality? Yes, it’s teflon- I get that. I also have stainless. But, sometimes I just want less cleaning. This set is WAY better than the big brand one I bought. It very much reminds me of my first set of pans I got in college. Super price conscious.I am a fat grandma cook. Needless to say, I have used a lot of pans over the years. And, I really LIKE these.

Met Expectations, Very Pleased
Went camping over the weekend and these pots and pans did just the trick. The size was perfect for my needs and packed up small enough that I could carry them in my pack. The quality seems to be good and the non-stick coating really came in handy when cooking bacon, and eggs. No oil was required which was good because with the temperature that I camped in, the oil would not have performed well. I would recommend these for 2 people meals. If you are cooking for a family these can do it, you just have to be wise in how you prepare your food so that you can utilize all the pots. Keep in mind that the pans double as tops to the pots so if you have to boil water and need to top, you'll loose a pan. I used these both as pans and pots. I was able to boil water and fill my water bladder using the large pot. I recommend these and I am so glad that I have them.
