As good as I remembered!
First, some technical details. Mine came in a tin (yes!) not a plastic box. Yes, a few of the pieces had a tiny bit of "bloom" (whiteness on the surface of the chocolate, which is just some of the cocoa butter rising to the surface due to temperature fluctuations) which to me did not affect the flavor at all. Most importantly, it was chock full of memories! My father is middle eastern with a huge family (usually get a crowd of 500-600 at a wedding!), and has a lot of family in the U.K. I personally have never been there, yet. But this must have been a popular gift from visiting family because every house we visited on weekends had a tin of quality street on the table. As a bored kid who didn't speak the language being used, I would entertain myself with the sights and smells of these chocolates. Cracking this tin open now was an instant walk down memory lane. I'm quite satisfied with the quality, a bit of bloom is to be expected when chocolate has traveled overseas and then been parked in a warehouse for a bit. Everything I've tried so far tastes fresh. I will likely order another tin around Christmastime.

Updated British traditional chocolate selection in plastic tub!
This box of chocolates was a hit at a work event that was British themed. Kids loved them because of the brightly colored wrappers (which is a characteristic of Quality Street) and adults like them because the chocolate tasted "rich", because it was tasty milk chocolate (unlike American chocolate), I remember Quality Street from my childhood in the UK but the varieties inside this plastic (not metal, as was traditional when I was young) have changed. However, for the American market, a big tub like this is a fun and tasty way to get a "taste of Britain" without traveling there. I recommend this product but don't order it when it's hot because all the contents are chocolate based and would melt in transit and that would be a shame. Each piece of chocolate is individually wrapped, either in foil or cellophane. I think it would make a stunning gift for anyone you know who is an Anglophile (and not diabetic)! I can't remember but there may be chocolates that contain nuts and all varieties are milk chocolate based. There are no dark or white chocolate in this selection (which is traditional for Quality Street).

Really great candies!
We watched Inside the Factory in early December and they featured the Quality Street factory. They looked delicious, so we ordered. These were beyond our expectations, and we ended up ordering a second container a few days after it arrived. Delicious candy and such a wide variety of flavors. The chocolate melts in your mouth, unlike the boxes of candy we get here in the US. The episode that featured the factory said that the purple one was by far the most popular in England, so we were really looking forward to that. It turned out that the purple one and the blue coconut one were our least favorite though, and the orange, strawberry and toffee ones were best to us. I guess tastes differ across the Atlantic. None were bad though, and we ate them all, just different preferences. Will definitely become a Christmas tradition in our home!

Everything tastes like orangeā¦
Really disappointed in this product. Every single chocolate tasted so far smells and tastes like orange chocolate. I would skip - not worth the money unless you really like orange tasting chocolate.

Wow! Just Wow!
Color me very surprised by these chocolates. Packaging is very attractive and the sweets are very good considering the low cost. Don't expect luxury brand chocolates and you will be very happy.Hint: Dig to the bottom of the sweets and the menu slip is hiding there. The product is a mix of chocolates and chewy toffees in a nice ratio of each. I believe there are 60 pieces, but I haven't counted. Will most likely give some of these tins as gifts for Christmas. Pieces individually wrapped in a rainbow of colors and that is a beautiful surprise the first time you open the tin.Manufactured 10/2016 and use by date is 10/2017. Received promptly with Amazon Prime and packaging was sturdy as usual.

The chocolates were delicious as I have expected it to be
I love how it came with a very nice tin can where you could use it as a storage kit for whatever DIYs or whatnot. Likewise, though the expiration date is a bit close when it was delivered (but I am aware since it was shown to me prior to the completion of my purchase), they were in good quality and tasted really great. We have been eating Nestle chocolates ever since and it didn't turn us down amidst the bad reviews that I have read before I ordered it. Not a single chocolate wrapper was opened nor stale. We did enjoy the whole thing!
