my maltese shi tzu mix has pemphigas foliaceus, is missing hair on her entire torso, has super dry skin and “elephant skin”. i’ve been using medicated and soothing shampoos for the last two years and her skin has gotten more dry, flaky and cracked. i heard about neem shampoo and this brand was highly recommended (and organic) so i decided to spend even more money than i already have in hopes that it would help her skin. after one wash her skin is already softer! especially the rough elephant skin! she is still a bit dry and flaky but what an improvement! i am so happy this worked, after trying so many products that did nothing or made her worse. i am so grateful.

It does what it says. Softens the dog's dry skin and helps lessen his need to scratch. Smells good unlike some of the shampoos. So my dog Coconut does not mind it. And being able to soak him longer in the bath.

I recently purchased this product to help my pup with sensitive skin, and I was absolutely amazed after the first use. The smell was incredible, and I couldn’t believe how easy it was to rinse out of the hair. I got a chuckle out of the directions! Please don’t change anything about this product because I will be purchasing from now on!

This shampoo is perfect for my itchy pitty! When I use other shampoo's she's always so uncomfortable afterwards, even when I use calming oatmeal baths, but not with this shampoo! It's so gentle, cleans well and she always smells so fresh for a long time! It also doesn't dry out her skin or make it too oily! I just have to say it's perfect and I highly recommend it! Especially to all my pitty owners out there who have itchy pittys! I have also been a Vet Tech for 12 years and I have had three pitties in my lifetime and so far this is the best one yet so I had to write a review! Hope this helps and much love to you all!

My dog was itching herself before I started using this shampoo, it seems to help her and makes her so soft to the touch

Bottle had leaked half out lid was loose, this could be prevented by taping the lid, big ole mess folks

I am giving 4 stars only because as I do like the smell it is a bit strong. With that said the dogs smell great for up to 2 weeks. That is amazing, no more dog smell. The scent does get lighter after they dry off. Also the lather is terrible but I understand you need to add more water not product. For one of my dogs adding more water just washed off the shampoo and no lather at all. I’m assuming because of his fur, so I did need to add a bit more shampoo for him. The other pup it worked great. It does make both of them super soft after they dry. When they are wet the fur feels kinda gross but once dry it’s really nice! Oh and both have sensitive skin and so far no irritation at all! So I really do recommend this shampoo especially if your main concern is smelly or sensitive skin doggos:) The lemongrass is also a natural flea and tick repellent so I don’t have to give them those nasty flea and tic meds, which is a plus!!

The bad I got a splitting headache while I was bathing my baby. I think it was from the smell. So I dried him off and combed him out. I love the mild lemon scent on his fur. His fur naturally like human hair and very soft was beautiful. So if not for the headache I loved this stuff. Will try again and see if I get the same headache.
