Great book. My 10 year old said it was difficult. I tried this book as an alternative to the “20 minutes reading fight” we have every night. He gladly accepted the alternative, but wanted to go back to reading after a few days using this!

Every year we do a Santa sack for our grandchildren. Santa stops here as well as that their house. My grandson who is 7 likes wordsearches and this was an ideal present for him. When he unwrapped this present he shouted "Mum, mum" look what I've got".

英語のクロスワードは難しくてなかなかできない・・という人には、このワードサーチをおすすめ！リストに載っている言葉を文字列の中から捜すパズルですが、大人用のワードサーチにありがちな、ひたすら探すだけじゃありません。リストのワードの母音が隠されていたり、パズルを解くと絵や文字が浮かび上がったり、残った文字を拾っていくと、おもしろい文章ができあがったり。もちろん挿絵もいっぱい！それぞれのパズルにテーマがあって、例えば「バスルーム」なら「シャワー」「タオル」「ボディソープ」「かみそり」など。関連した言葉が勉強できるのでいいんじゃないでしょうか。その中で、「朝食のメニュー」というテーマでリストに言葉が載っていなくて、「Ｏ文字の言葉」と「小さい挿絵」のみのヒントからワードを考えるなどというのは、普通の日本人にはかなり難易度が高いんじゃないかと思います。でも、答えがちゃんと載っているのでご心配なく。６歳の娘（英語ネイティブ）がパズル好きのため購入したのですが、内容がよかったため、自分が教えているクラス（高校生レベル）でも息抜きに使用しています。
