Emjoi Seal Epilator Plus Micro-Pedi Callus Remover (Rechargeable)

Does what it says it will. I only used it once on my legs (it plucked most of the hairs, but it did miss a few here and there) and my hair is already growing at a significantly slower rate. When I shaved in the morning, my thick, black hair would grow in as a stubble by the time I went to sleep that night. After dry epilating once, it takes a couple days for stubble to appear!The pain is really not that bad-- It's more of the ferocious sound it makes that causes apprehension about putting it to your skin. Really, it sounds worse than it feels. It does take a couple minutes of getting used to, but after that, it is totally bearable. That being said, I don't recommend going over the same places more than three times (in order to grab the missed hairs), as this caused me redness and REALLY dry, flaky skin. When I used it (in early November), it caused some dryness, but some lotion fixes that. DO NOT USE IT ON YOUR ARMPITS. Yes, it hurts like hell, and it doesn't grab most of the hairs, which will make you want to go over the same spot... 5 times... 8 times... Then the skin gets so red and irritated that it will hurt the rest of the day and through the next day. Seriously, don't do it.

I have used epilators for years so I have experience and can tell you it is worth waiting out the pain of the first few times of use. My old Emjoi finally bit the dust so I bought this one and it is perfect! The curve fits the leg curve and makes the job go faster. Of course, at this point, I have very little hair left, and what there is, is soft and light, so it comes off easily. And the callus remover is a godsend! I live at the beach in flipflops, so my poor feet get calluses and dry skin all the time. Now I have baby feet! I can't believe it! What I didn't know when I ordered this, is that the epilator came with just a single head, not the double, but I find it is so good, I don't really need the double. And the callus remover came with the order. I thought I was going to have to order it separately, but I didn't, so I have everything I need. Order this! You won't be sorry! Oh, and this is my first rechargeable unit and I love that I don't have to sit next to a plug and fight the cord. Another plus!

I tried this product to remove facial hair. Don't do it! It is very painful for the face; I have tried threading, which is 100 times more comfortable and much more effective. I have used the standard tweezers, which is also much better and more effective. I have tried creams, which require more usage that tweezers and threading, but is not painful and is effective.Not only did this epilator hurt, but it barely removed any hair. It is advertised as "comfortable," but it is not. Don't buy this product before trying it; use someone else's Emjoi Seal Wet/Dry Epilator.I found out the hard way that if you try the product and return it you will only be reimbursed half the purchase price, unfortunately they do not tell you that when they accept the return and send you the return label. What's worse is that before you return the product you have to fill out a form explaining why you want to return it; I stated I tried the epilator and it hurt. I was not told, however, that I would not get the full purchase price back because I tried it (by the way I only tried on a small patch of hair as instructed). After I returned the product, I was told that because I tried it I could not get a full refund, but as stated earlier, I was not told that until I paid to return the item.In this instance, if you don't know the product before you buy it, just don't try it!

This is an amazing hair removal system, minimal pain, hair stays away for at least a week. I would give it a better mark but there are two things wrong with it; 1. It does not remove course facial hair. 2. I spend about 2 hours the first day on my legs and arms and after the two weeks about 1/2 hour every other day. However the hair is getting thinner!

Takes too long to charge then dies too quickly. Pretty annoying the battery life doesn't last

It is very good one. I received it very quick. Before I used other 2, one of them was a Braun and another one I don`t remember because I use it many years. When I used previouse one I experienced pain especially in bicini area and legs. When I use this one I don`t feel any pain. When I just used it first day I was so supprised that I did not feel any pain. Also I spend less time to epilate underarm, bicini, legs. I would recomend it to people who use it every week and want to spend less time and less pain.

I have been waxing my legs forever. It has become so messy, time consuming, and frustrating that I started shaving again. I was really hesitant to spend so much money on something that might not work, but I figured I would go ahead and give it a try. Not only did the hair come out like a breeze, it hasn't come back yet after a few weeks. It didn't break the hair, it actually pulled it out from the roots. Yes, it takes a little time to learn how to use it proficiently, but I love it. I am a fan for life!
