These are fascinating looking but unsuitable for classic pearl jewellery. If you like odd mismatched things - which I do - these are a great bargain! They are all sorts of shapes! Some have dimples which look like eyes as the upper layer has worn through. I haven’t tried drilling or carving them so not sure how they’ll react but I’m very happy to experiment because of the price! I think they’d be a great present for a art college student!

We used these and some mother of pearl flakes as an alternative to glass beads and were really pleased with the effect. Great value for money

Using with wood for sculpture product. Just arrived and were not the colourvi needed or expected. Beautifull product none the less. Not sure of environmental impact. Will be ordering more in hope they are the right colour. Interestingly I filed one down an I believe I can see a tiny grain of rice used to start the pearl. 🍚 🌾

Genuine pearls, exactly what I needed for my project

In my particular 100g selection, I got 136 good sized pearls and a few smaller ones, most have a flat bottom and the occasional pearl is fused with another. However they are of excellent quality and have a nice lustre. They are fairly uniform in colour, with a few showing shades of purple and pink. They suit my Jewellery making needs well.
