Last for one season
I've been buying the W28001 for my pool for awhile. These were about $30 cheaper than the average price. The only drawback I saw was it was manufactured over a year ago. Not sure if these have shelf life.

Worth every penny 5 STARS
5 STARS! We have had SO much rain lately, it's ridiculous and our pool was continuously staying cloudy even though we were spending loads of money on pool supplies to try and clear it. Then I remembered, we are supposed to replace the salt cartridge every year, but I had forgot all about it. So I ordered this off Amazon, replaced our old cartridge and our pool has been CRYSTAL CLEAR ever since, even with MORE continuous rain. So don't be like me and forget to change your cartridge, it actually really does make a huge difference on how clean your pool will stay, and believe me when I say, it will save you SO MUCH money on chemicals, so it's worth the price in the end

It works.
This product works good for me. I live in a region that does have a winter so we do close our pool. Within a few days of opening the pool In the spring I replace my old mineral cartridge with a new one. It cuts my chemical usage in half. I ordered this on a Wednesday and I received it the following Friday. Excellent service. I

Makes a difference
2nd season with our pool. This first half brought us more rain as well as pollen and I think I waited too long to replace. The water never turned green or anything but it seemed like I had to add and adjust so much more. Now that it’s in, it seems more manageable. My unit came with the 25 or the W28000 but this size fits and works fine. Got this one because it was $30 cheaper at the time.
