This was the exact ratio of turmeric and black pepper I wanted. Arrived on time and well packaged. Couldn't ask for better really.

Turmeric, or rather Curcumin, is a supplement that I only started taking in the past couple of years but I have felt some benefit from it, or I’ve convinced myself I do, and like to keep it in my regimen. Normally I’d take a Curcumin extract supplement but this true Organic Turmeric with Black Pepper capsule from Natural Health Market seemed like a viable alternative. The fact that the Turmeric is from accredited organic sources, is accompanied by black pepper to aid absorption and is packed in a non-animal gelatine capsule all sounds good.The problem is that natural Turmeric is only about 3% Curcumin and since that’s the magic component that makes Turmeric worthy taking this supplement is likely to be a lot less effective than a Curcumin extract would be. That said some people will prefer the natural form of Turmeric and appreciate the organic provenance, so you pays your money. These capsules are on the large size but swallowable with a big gulp of water. The recommended dose is between one and three per day but given that it’s Turmeric inside three is probably the best choice, so this pack should last a month.

I use a lot of black pepper in cooking for it's many health benefits and I have taken turmeric supplements in one form or another consistently for several years now, primarily for joint health due to being very active and also to help keep my skin healthy as it's a great anti-inflammatory and antioxidant, but also to contribute to keeping my mood lifted. It's a supplement I wouldn't be without as I know it works very well for me - just make sure you're clear about the benefits and if you need to supplement with this or not before taking it based on other people's opinions unless they're professionals offering you specific advice.If you know that turmeric is the right supplement for you right now, then this is a pretty good value choice as if taken at the recommended minimum one a day then this bottle will last around 4 months, or otherwise just over a month if taken at 3 a day, the maximum recommended.

Turmeric it is a very healthy supplements!Helps a lot with skin improvement and joints!It is easy to swallow with no specific flavour .Good quality and good!I would definitely recommend it!
