Q: How do this arrived (contained in a box, or loose in a bag)?

My purchase in 2022 was contained in a thin box that had shrink wrap around it, which was then shipped in another container. The package opens on the long side of a rectangle, so once it is open, it is a gnarly mess. We took out a lot of the sticks and then taped the container shut or we would be playing 1000 Pick Up Sticks.

Thick as a credit card. Approx 0.25" wide. Not good for crafts-- too many irregularities, too thin. We use these only for coffee (where the wet heat also warps them) and tea service for which they are satisfactory, after buying for craft and hobby use, for which they were a disappointment.
