EMT Exam For Dummies with Online Practice

Great book for beginners but nothing beats reading your book

The book is a decent reason to sit down for a few hours a night prepping for the exam. However, the online service (Wiley connect) did not ever work. I tried for hours to figure it out with no avail. Additionally, the printed questions are dated and might lead one astray. Not the worst way to prep but there are better options.

This is a very helpful book for EMT students. It makes things simple and gives lots of tips and tricks. Also has a great question bank in the back with answers and rational.

Great for review and online practice.

Great book. The thing I enjoyed the most was the online practice tests.

My book did not come with a PIN. I spent 30 minutes in an online chat with Wiley having to 1) prove I was affiliated with an EMT school 2) prove I bought the book by submitting a PDF of my Amazon invoice 3) apply for an emailed PIN 4) prove that the emailed PIN they sent me created an error message (provide screenshot of both the email and the error message). All this was because the book did not come with a PIN as stated within the text itself as well as in the book description. This could be because Amazon may have sent me a used book where the PIN was removed, even though I paid for a new book. Either way it was 30 minutes of having to prove I bought a new book and was in a class. So be prepared and look for that PIN right away.
