The design is durable. The horse rides like a bicycle. In playing around on the horse, we discovered the hair around the hoof get get caught in the casters of the "hooves". We also added padding to the seat as riding the horse for longer periods wear down the saddle. The design is beautiful, easy to clean and store. The horse comes in sections that can be removed for washing. The assemble horse requires the head portion to be attached, but very easy to do. Lastly, the horse can hold even the largest adult in our house of 220lbs without danger to the design. The value was below average cost when I purchased. I am very pleased. The horse is about 2.5 feet tall, the head reaches about 3 feet. The length is about 3.25 feet long and it is about 2 feet wide.

The media could not be loaded. Sturdy enough for our 7 year old daughter to ride... even her dad took it for a spin! It only moves forward and doesn’t move backwards.

My daughter had one of the branded PonyCycles and adored it! Unfortunately she really was getting too big for it and it was rather tatty, so I started looking for a bigger one. This brand was the only one I could find that offered an XL model for a reasonable price (anything else was £600+). It arrived almost fully assembled, so was much easier to put together than I expected - all we had to do was attach the head, which was really simple.It rides well but seems to be harder work than the old PonyCycle and not quite as smooth. The head swivels, which seems like a nice feature but actually makes it a bit tricky for my daughter (she has a learning disability). It also seems to 'stick' and need a bit of a push when not on a completely flat/smooth surface. Even so, it does work well enough for the most part and seemed good value for money. It's reasonably sturdy and is actually big enough for 12 yrs to (small) adult, as claimed (and I was sceptical of). It comes with a spare / extra saddle blanket too, which is a nice touch and adds to the role-play element.Delivery was very prompt and it was in a smaller box than I expected, which was a little added bonus as I needed to hide it somewhere for a week before Christmas!
