Saved my hair!
This water filter saved my hair! the water heater where I live has buildup and I think some iron, something that has been ruining my hair and making it brittle and dry. Thankfully they have products like these to help, the installment was simple and its a good value compared to the name brand.

Grid profuct but not for our water
We have a well water that is full of metals. After a couple of weeks, the filter stops working and we are back to the smelly water. This filter will probably work for most waters out there, especially city treated waters that are chlorinated.

Waste of money - Clogs within 2 -3 weeks
I have used these filters for years and even had them on automatic shipment. The last two filters clogged within 2-3 weeks. I used to use them for 3-4 months with no issue and replaced due to age. I thought the first one was a one off, and the second one clogged so bad the water was dripping from it. My water has not changed. I have a water softner and whole house filter. I put an old filter on I had under the counter for months and it works fine for now, until I find another shower filter source. Definitely something changed in their design. I would not waste your money on this one.

Great Shower Filter
This Shower filter works better than the original for about 15 dollars cheaper The Original one it replaced would leak as well, where this one doesn't leak a drop. It's not as heavy as the original filter it replaced, so maybe that has something to do with it. The stress on where it connected might have caused the slight leaking. Overall, it performs just as well as the original for a lot less money. I Definitely recommend it.
