Set 03 Front and Rear Wheel Locking Skewers: High-Security Anti-Theft Bicycle Lock System, Precision Stainless Steel Construction, Tamper-Proof Design for Ultimate Bike Protection

Shame I had to buy a set of 2 skewers as I only wanted to replace front axle to protect that wheel to prevent needing 2 d-locks. (I suppose I could replace back axle too now i have it as it is very easy to do but I use my single D-lock to include back wheel which is fine as not that valuable and in general I am all in favour of wheels being as easy as possible to remove - when for maintenance rather than being stolen!). For a valuable bike, all round Pitlocks would seem a great extra as even if thieves crack your D-lock(s) they still have a bike that has locked wheels / seat / stem etc so harder to take apart or re-sell. Overall very nice product!PS See my note about the caps that you can buy separately to complete the look of the product under the separate listing for Pitlock caps / covers. They are beautiful screw on caps to complete the product (i.e. finish off the look and provide extra water tightness by sealing the open end) but I am not sure how tight to screw it on as don't want it to fall off but if screwed on as finger tight as possible it is hard to remove again as the smooth conical cap is hard to grip (and I worry it might be harder to remove if left a while!). So, I'm less sure of the caps (tho they look great!) but the skewers themselves are excellent

These skewers are super secure. I've had them on my bike for 2-3 years now, locking my bike around the city in London. I never need to lock my wheels and I still have them. One time I actually found the whole bike upside-down (thief trying to twist-break the D-lock) with the wheels still intact there (sucks that the frame was ruined, but the skewers did their job!).Installation can be a bit fiddly with the small bits, but just follow the diagram on the packaging to put them in the right order/direction. To install/remove, you'll need to ideally use a wrench, or if you're on the road, you could use an allen key (or a similar 5-6mm thick rod) to slide it through a hole in the secure key to get leverage to screw on/off.The secure key can then be added to your keychain easily. There's also a serial number that you can use to order a replacement key if you lose the one supplied.They also look really cool and slick. Also, after all this time, no signs of rust or corrosion.The price is a bit steep, but that's about the same cost you'd pay to replace a stolen wheel (if not more). Totally worth it, I have 2 sets for both my current bikes.

I brought this for my fat tyre e bike (Cyrusher XF900) as I use my bike for food deliveries and I needed some sort of lock which can prevent my bike wheels from getting stolen and this is what I found and I have to say, it gives you a peace of mind that your bike wheels are safe from thieves. I know for sure that it can fit on almost any bike as my bike has fat tyres and there was no problem with the installation or even the length of the wheel lock. I would recommend the product...

Reading the title would be key to make sure you get what you paid for as I only got the front and back wheel lock and not the seat. It does say a set of 3. Nevertheless this product as saved me the stress of leaving my bike on public roads. Definitely recommend

One of the best bike wheel security skewers on the market. Fantastic quality and clever design. Only downside was the installation and price. It took me a while to instal them properly, rear wheel skewer was a bit short but I managed.

I wish it came with the end-cap, which I had to buy separately.I feel that my bicycle wheels are very secure and free from worries. I am very happy about the product.

This is a good product and 1 I'd say was exceptionally well made despite the packaging looking like it belongs in a Halfords the product itself is made from an absolutely lush stainless steel with an amazingly crisp finish to the machining. I've noticed inspecting this that even if you manage to clamp something onto it, it's going to turn stiffly but not actually loosen the security nut so I've chucked the frankly heavy extra cable I needed b4 getting this. I don't like you had to buy a pair though! I have nexus hub gears so the rear one is useless to me except as a spare nut and washers but I think il be getting the proper nut version next for a bit peace of mind
