The media could not be loaded. This scanner worked out of the box on my 2004 Ford Mondeo and should work on most newer cars equipped with OBD2. It showed I had no error codes which is great. If it detects error codes they can be cleared. You will need to download the product manual from eninfo dot x431 dot comThis device can decode standard DTC codes used by vehicle manufacturers to identify problems. As with all OBD2 readers you will need to understand the results but the documentation is available. P-Codes, B-codes, C-Codes and U-codes are catered for. The controls are robust and good casing makes the device quite safe to drop. A USB cable and input on the device is provided for updates etc. Overall this device works well and is easy to use. I like buying gadgets that save me money, especially when it comes to the car as easy fixes can cost you a fortune at a garage, had to pay a mechanic £40 for a diagnostic check just to tell me my spark plug and ignition coil needed changing, for under £30 this device would have told me this plus it reads Citroen cars which some readers don't, it also has many other functions like reading 02 sensors, gives more details of the fault code, clears fault codes, I have just come back from a short break and again had problems with the car while away, checked what the fault was on the reader and again I had a fault on cylinder 2, this time i changed all the spark plugs with more expensive Bosch from EurocarPart (half price at moment) and to date not had a problem, hopefully no more expensive diagnostic checks plus its very easy to use and there is a good video on Youtube you can watch that tells you more about the uses of the product, can't go wrong for the price, plus the seller is very fast in replying on what cars it can read.

I bought the Creader 3001 OBDII Scanner because the engine light, in my mk6 VW Golf GT TDI, was displayed on dashboard. My car was intermittently stalling. I plugged in the Creader 3001 and it immediately diagnosed a fault with the Throttle Position Sensor, giving code and description. The 3001 allowed me to delete the fault code and switch off the engine light. Golf now performs a lot better and as it should. Creader 3001 is very easy to use and by giving you a description of the fault code, it saves time in having to research what the fault actually is. Great value for money. Wish I had bought sooner.

I contacted the seller as wished to return the item not a problem returned using barcode scanner at post office the same night I had a confirmation that my refund was going ahead minus the return postage , nothing wrong with the launch OBD , It just was not fit for what I wanted it for , I have a fault on an Audi soft top & neede the fault code to diagnose the problem area this device read said no faults, but I clearly had 1 on my dashboard, Audi have ( vagcom ) which I later discovered is a far more complex Diagnostic tool , my mistake , however very easy to use 5 star rating , easy to read also 5 star rating , 4 stars for accuracy as didn't show the visible fault which I think is a roof sensor , BUT it did pick up the faulty air flow sensor which I created by disconnecting to double check it was working at all , pity that there is not a star rating for seller as great custom service , and delivery for this definitely 5 STARS.

I bought this product but didn't use it straight away. When I came to use it, there was a fault. It was outside the Amazon return window.Sometimes the screen is clear and you can use it but other times it's the Matrix with corrupted text.Tried to email and phone Launch regarding the display fault to see if they could help, but they never answered their customer service phone or replied to email.Therefore, I will not use Launch products again as seems not to be supported in my opinion.

Works but there is no link on the website (as advertised) to download an update to the firmware to include later vehicle models which effectively makes the unit obsolete unless you are only diagnosing older vehiclesThis is very disappointing as the unit has the ability to function well if updated.The description is therefore misleading in terms on updating.I have emailed the manufacturer but as yet (2 months ago) I have not received an acknowledgment or any message.Be aware of this if you want to use the unit on the more modern vehicles
