Not sure if the bitter or the tale is more remarkable-
Extremely impressed with "The Bitter Truth" and all of their endeavors.. The craziest thing is that they're from Pullach!! A little town on the sleepy Isar river near Munich (I lived there for a while; but the Bavarian location makes sense considering the traditional cocktail scene in Munich and bars such as Pusser's, which once was Harry's Bar, Munich) .. Anyhow, incredibly interesting reading the copious included information on how they recreated this iconoclastic bitter, which was thought consumed by time, yet still referenced in many of the earliest cocktail books (Jerry Thomas, etc) They located and purchased (potentially) the last bottle on earth.. Through no small feat, using molecular technology, they were able to re-create it.. (at least, a very close Simulacrum) and the truth is that this is no small bitter.. Flavor is huge and punches through most drinks so you have to be sparing.. This isn't an effete bitter like Cocktail Punk or Smith Bros ;-) .... Also, I was expecting a small bottle of bitters, but this is a 375ml of a bitter as thick and dark as the best balsamic!! Even though the cost is dear, it's probably enough to last until the next pandemic...

Takes your old fashioned to the next level.
This bitters is absolutely amazing. It tastes like spiced cola syrup almost but more complex. A dash is strong and works great even in non alcoholic drinks.
