Great work phone
I've had this phone for a week now, using it with dual SIM cards, AT&T - TMobile it has been flawless so far. The battery is incredible with heavy use through the day and still had 70 percent after 14 hours. It's construction is heavy duty as advertised. The flir camera is a very handy tool in my occupation and works as well as the bulky MSA unit I've lugged around for years. The air quality monitor seems to be reliable. Haven't used the laser tape measure yet but expect it will be as good as everything else. The only issue I have had I would assume would be with all dual SIM card phones is reception when one carrier is not available. I've lost a couple of calls when it's searching for the other carrier. If I disable that SIM I have great reception again. I highly recommend this phone for anyone who works in construction, mechanical, building maintenance, and definitely first responder environments. This isn't just a phone it's a tool that will work when you need it and as someone who has broken a phone or 10 I am excited to have one built for me.

worst battery performance ever
I bought this for the FLIR sensor, and that feature has worked great. The issue I have is with the battery and the company's to it. I have had to buy at least a half dozen charge cords for this phone because they just stop working.I have never had a phone that can go from a full charge to nothing in a few hours with no app running. Ive done a factory reset twice already, and twice ive had to reinstall my apps. Today, I looked and had 35% left on the battery, was surfing amazon, set the phone down and when I picked it up it was dead. I still have not been able to this phone. that was like 4 hours ago, I even went to the car and plugged it into the short cord supplied with the phone and drove around for a half hour to charge it, it never went above 6% and this is with it in airplane mode!!! I got home took it in the house to charge and in the couple minutes it took me to get in and plug in the cord it was dead. I could go on and on about the frustration this device has caused me. So a couple weeks ago I wrote the Cat Phone support team and in great detail explained the situation, I got what looked like a form letter back telling me to let the phone charge to 100% and let it totally drain twice... and if that didn't fix it then to do another factory reset!!!! When a company that knows it has battery issues does something like that instead of just telling you how to return the phone and get a product that actually works, It tells me that they probably have not fixed the issue or they don't really care about their customers. Now I did get another email from the support staff but since it was in Spanish I have no idea what it said. To be fair I liked the phone when it worked, but this has been going on for months and I have been with out a phone way too much for something in this price range. Im going back to Samsung.... I can take that right back to the store when it stops this one you cant.

Built for the working man!
This phone is awesome. I love the thermal camera and that it is waterproof. The tape measure is not as fast or user-friendly as a stand-a-lone Lazer tape-measure but it works when you need it. Still better than pulling a standard tape. The air quality sensor is really nice to have. I forget about it until it goes off and lets me know the air quality has gotten worse.I've only had this about 2 months but so far I've been really happy. Its a real work phone. Its heavier but for me, that's totally worth it because it stands up to the abuse that I put phones through.

Decent phone. Crappy accessories.
Bought a CAT S61 from here about a week or two back from writing this. If planning purchase, buy sim card from service provider prior to arrival as it will not come with one. The charger itself was weak, and the only charger to charge it was a 96w for a laptop.

Laser CAT phone!!
I really love this phone so far. I'll update if I change my mind. I waited a long time to get a cat phone. I heard of the FLIR phones a few years ago but they looked really clunky. This phone is huge but in a nicer way. I like how it feels to hold. I ordered a case but I probably won't need it. The back of the phone is really nice grippy material that dries quickly after it gets wet.I'm not an iPhone person so I can't compare to that but my last two phones were Samsung Galaxy alpha 850a's (yes, got another after I accidentally drowned the first when my water bottle broke open in a waterproof bag). My phone use for context:1) regular phone stuff2) Pinterest and read news3) camera4) GPS while backpacking off trail in Pacific Northwest temperate rainforest and while huntingThis phone does everything I need it to plus really entertaining FLIR stuff. Plus it has a laser and I bet it works great on cats :p (so far I played with the laser but haven't gotten calibration quite right yet).Plus it is actually waterproof. I just put it in the sink to test it, planning an Amazon return if it didn't work out. But I'm typing my review on it now!Note: there were some odd reviews saying you can't change notification sounds and that FLIR doesn't go up as high as it says. You can actually change the sounds, this phone has all the normal Android stuff just with extras for all the sensors. The FLIR has a special high temp mode but you have to turn it on manually. My only Negs:Headphone jack cover likes to stay cracked open (doesn't seem to impact waterproofing, might be a one off issue but not worth returning for imo)Had to search up a manual online/watch like 10 videos to figure out how to use all the features because no manual or link to manual comes in the box with the phone

It kept going downhill.
Thought this was going to be the last cell I had to buy. As time went by, things quit working. The added features were fine, but the OS seemed to screw up more & more. Checking with Cat for possible warranty claim, they required I send in (along with model/serial, where I bought it & what the weather was like when it was delivered) a photo of the unit. I called it quits & returned it.
