Q: What did the cows eat?

Well, the seller would not know what the cows ate since she went to the grocery store and bought Wisconsin butter and took it home and cooked it down, I absolutely would not purchase this because you don’t know which Wisconsin butter she used or anything from that label, but this is not Texas butter . This is in fact Wisconsin butter that was cooked down in Texas. The seller is very deceptive by not making that information a little more plain, or in the description, I found the little mention of where the butter actually came from by accident.

Q: Is this pasture raised?

The butter for the Ghee is not pasture raised. All of the butter that we use is USDA graded AA unsalted butter which is the highest possible grade a butter can achieve based on its aroma, flavor, and texture.

Q: Is the jar glass or plastic?

The jar is glass the taste is o. k. But unlike more expensive Ghee, it is very liquid at room Temperature. So, we have to keep it in the fridge for convenient use.
