I am reviewing the 8w light as a 8 watt light. This is not what I hope for do to my ignorance of wattage. I do underwater photosynthesis experiments and research. This light is not nearly bright enough for what I need. I am currently working with the manufacturer via email and Miss Jenny has been astronomical so far on her help in finding my light that will fit my needs . This light is well-constructed at have absolutely no problems with the function ability. Just not what I needed and hoped it would be. The light and construction is excellent, but, like I said, my ignorance on wattage and lumens is my fault

Bought this so I could see my fish in my pond at night and to add color. I also bought a transformer ( HitLights 24 Watt (2 Amp) LED Power Supply 110V AC to 12V DC Transformer) and an adapter (JacobsParts DC Power Jack Adapter Plug Female Pigtails) on Amazon so I could have it plugged in and on a timer.

These are very bright and looks so neat in the water. I live and boat in some pretty blue water already, I thought the blue might look funny but it only enhances the color of our water. Not sorry I chose the blue and we started to get small fish around the lights in about 5 minutes.

Quality, brightness, cord length, perfect. Using it off a dock, worked great.

Purple started turning white the second time I used it. Now it's almost white. Only used a few times for a few hours.
