I liked how quickly they germinated on the paper towel method. They didn’t get out of hand with growth.I did not want the sunflowers I remembered as a kid. Gigantic and flopping over. I planted them in a way where they actually looked somewhat manicured. Pretty yellow color and thirsty.They let you know when they want to be watered

The media could not be loaded.  What a great value and this is my second year of planting these beauties. I have butterflies on the property constantly during the sun, and they compete with bumble bees and hummingbirds. I have planted mine in areas that get irrigation every other day so I literally rake the soil, thrown them down, rake and tap soil with a little mulch and watch grow. You will have to thin plants unless you are reallly good at planting seeds. Very high success rate and you can replant those you pull to thin. I did it with about a dozen. Such a hearty plant. They remind me of a stalk of corn and get every bit as tall. Prune off dead heads and get a bushy form and twice the flowers. Going to put next to sidewalk next year so people that walk by can enjoy up close butterflies.

Our first time buying these flowers. Did not realize they would reach 12 foot, but they did. Pollinators Loved Them!!! They Make A Beautiful Bouquets.

For the past several years I bought Outsidepride Tithonia for my butterflies and have been very pleased with the flowers. In the summer of 2023, they performed well, maybe too well. Several of the plants grew to 10 feet tall with the biggest topping out at 18 feet 8 inches. It was fun to watch them grow and I was amazed at their height. However the taller ones produced few flowers. All in all, a great product for the cost. I have already bought them for the 2024 season.

Another reviewer said no germinations. I have a lot of almost full grown plants from the packet.The plants survived rabbits, squirrels, and birds.Nice germination in my experience.

I ordered several packages of seeds from outside pride and almost everything but these grew and already have their second sets of leaves. Even my cypress vines are having the little fern like foilage, but these mexican sunflowers haven't sprouted at all. I planted all plants in same mix, under same grow lights and nothing is happening so have to believe it is old seeds. I have planted about 600 seeds since January and almost everything has grown. Their petunias also didn't grow. That being said is still a great value for money to grow lots of flowers but if you only ordered mexican sunflowers and petunias would probably be greatly disappointed. I am sure it was just a batch of old seeds or something because other than the two was fantastic.

Nice, colorful flowers, very good germination. The plants are nice and tall but they are all falling over and breaking at the stem. Having to prop them up. I have not had that issue in the past so assume it is this variety.
