BDF NA20 Window Film Daytime Privacy and Sun Control Natural Black 20 (Dark) - 36in X 50ft

I covered a sliding glass door, two larger bay windows, and a smaller bedroom window (with plenty of tent to spare). The installation was very straightforward and easy. Take your time, measure twice, cut once. Make sure you completely wash the window before application. I also took a metal scraper and lightly went over the entire surface of my window. You’d be surprised of the little dust particles and specs that you may not see, but can cause texture and bubbles in the film. My film and packaging came undamaged and tightly rolled. As with any tint film, you must be delicate because it will crease easy, but that is not a testament to the film, it’s a testament to the application. If you’re patient and careful, you can really avoid creases, bubbles, and blemishes. If you are inexperienced or new to tint application, I definitely suggest watching a couple videos on best practices for installation. I would also suggest having all your materials very handy and working in a wide open space. Naturally, the larger the piece of film you’re working with, the more potential for the film to stick to itself, attract dust in the room, etc. I did not give this a five for a couple very minors reasons. First is, when you unroll the tint, the little plastic endcap holders in the box weren’t secured to the box and slid around a bit as I unrolled it (like pulling paper towels off a roll). I would really love for those endcaps to be secured to the box to make unrolling the tint easier. Second, while the tint was much darker than the original plain glass, I would have liked it to be even a little darker. Perhaps that is my mistake for not buying a darker shade, but the expectation based on the pictures was slightly off. The tint definitely reduces heat transmission though. I’m in Arizona and even 10° Makes a difference. With an infrared thermometer, this was 10° - 14° cooler than the untinted glass. All in all, I would definitely buy this product again!

I must admit that I am selfish when it comes to reviews. I love to refer to them but hate to write them. I felt I had to come back and write one for these tints. I have 5 large windows in my sunroom that were brutal for letting in heat along with the sunshine. We wanted to cut the heat and these tints do the trick. Very noticeable difference. We can actually sit in there without being uncomfortable. So not as much sunshine comes through but that's a price we were willing to pay and are glad we did. The picture shows as I was putting them on. The left upper window is tinted and the right was not as yet.

Has definitely cut down on the sun and heat in our AZ room. Two people definitely help when doing large windows and lots of water on both the window and film! Would buy again.

I made the mistake of ordering just enough for the job. Sure enough one of the window's tinted ended up with wrinkles. Contacted seller to see if I could get a small roll of film enough for one window and unfortunately they don't sell them in shorter lengths. Not wanting to pay another $40 just for one window I ended up just leaving one window untinted. Overall the film is decent quality although each film shows some tiny bubbles that never went away. The film did make an impact on temps. Not a massive difference but still noticeable. During the daytime the film has a reflective finish on the outside which gives good privacy. While you can still see inside if looking real closely its hard to make out the interior. At night there is little to no privacy provided by this tint while interior light are on.

Watched manufacturers video. Installation went very well. Noticed heat reduction immediately.

I try to leave reviews on the things I really like or I feel like is really worth the money spent on it. YALL. This stuff is amazing. I originally was just going to do my front glass storm door so I only ordered the 12 ft roll. My door is approximately 33”Wx72”L. I ended up using the remainder on my daughters bedroom windows. We live in Texas and it gets really hot here. Even with central AC, the front of our house lets in tons of heat and direct sunlight during the day. I use blackout curtains but I needed something else and didn’t want to go the aluminum foil route lol. I wish I had got the 24’ roll! I’m currently waiting on another roll to finish the windows on the front of the house. The door was trickier because it’s so much bigger, but if you follow the directions it’s really very simple. The door took me about an hour but my daughters windows 33”x24”L took me about 30 minutes combined. I absolutely love this and it makes a huge difference. Not to mention the privacy. Now when my front door is open you cannot see in from the outside though the glass storm door. The difference in the light and heat that comes through is night & day! You won’t regret buying this stuff!
