I have multiple Vimtag cameras for my house and my RV. They have all worked great until right before a big trip, I decided to purchase 3 more of these for the RV (at different times). I unboxed, setup, and installed them. Unfortunately, all 3 of them would disconnect and almost completely stop working. One also had SD card issues. I tried manually resetting them, and it was still the same issue. When I needed to see what was going on outside, they would not work! 2 eventually completely reset on their own, 1 of them several times. I was able to return the one directly to Amazon, but the other two would not have replacements through Amazon in before we left for the trip.I contacted Vimtag through e-mail, and they got back to me within 24 hours. They're based in China, so their support is generally awake when we are sleeping here in the US. No worries. After a couple back and forth e-mails to explain the issue, they offered to send free replacements. They were able to send them to us while we were on our trip at one of the campgrounds we stopped at. I installed the new cameras and they are working great! This really helped us feel a bit more relaxed on our trip as we dispersed camp in the middle of nowhere whenever possible. Knowing if there's a bear, elk, or even a human right outside of our RV while we are inside at night, or when we are aware from the RV, is great information to have.I was seriously debating dropping Vimtag and going to another brand for all my cameras, but this seriously great customer support is keeping me around!Recommendations to Vimtag: It would be great if they also offered a doorbell camera that has a swappable rechargeable battery (Like Eufy) and a wired version, too. Would also like to see some solar-powered camera options.

I recently purchased the VIMTAG 2025 G4 2.5K Security Camera to keep an eye on my front yard, and it’s exceeded my expectations. This very affordable camera delivers crisp, clear footage day and night, with impressive color night vision that captures details even in low light. I was able to make out a delivery person’s face clearly at 15 feet away, which gives me peace of mind. The two-way microphone/speaker is super responsive and clear.Setup was a breeze—took less than 5 minutes using the Vimtag app, which is intuitive and lets me customize motion zones to avoid false alerts from passing cars and animals. It is super easy to mount and adjust anywhere you need it. It also has a very long USB-C power cable which makes life much easier. I also love that it supports local storage on a microSD card, so I don’t need a subscription; though the cloud option is very affordable.Another great thing about this camera is that it has an experimental ONVIF mode that works flawlessly for me. This allows the camera to be monitored with other brands of desktop software in case you need it. Very convenient!Their tech support is incredibly fast, professional, and overall satisfactory. I have gotten super fast email responses to any questions I had for them.Overall, this camera offers premium features at a budget-friendly price. I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a versatile, reliable security solution for their home or business. 5/5 stars and definitely WILL buy more of these!

Wow the clarity of the camera is outstanding. This was the easiest and simple security camera I ever set up. I have other cameras which often get glitchy or go offline. I have had no issues with this camera. When I need to replace my other cameras I will get more of these. The value for money is outstanding especially for the quality. The camera works well in low light and the microphone/speaker adds additional functionality.

I got the VIMTAG 2025 G4 2.5K Security Camera after someone broke into my Jeep, and honestly, it’s been awesome. The human detection is spot on—no false alarms, just straight-up catching anyone who’s around my place. The 2.5K video is super clear, even at night with the color night vision, so I can keep an eye on my driveway no problem. The mic on this thing is unbelievable too. Chose it because it's compatible with multiple systems and was inexpensive. Almost went high end but this is more than enough. If you need a solid camera for inside or outside, this one’s a winner!

It's only been a few days but my expectations have far been exceeded. When it comes to setting up anything, especially electronics I am clueless and get frustrated. Set up was so easy. I had a few moments of frustration but once I calmed down, it was so simple. O ended up buying two. The app is easy to use. I use a micro SD card instead of the cloud but you can choose for yourself.For this price point I was expecting poor quality but I love these cameras and wouldn't exchange them for the expensive ones at all. These are high quality, the customer service is actively helpful and just all around a good solid company. Very rare these days. I have two, I plan on buying two more. Trust me you won't regret it. And again, I am a level 1 out of 10 when it comes to assembling, putting together and setting up things and I did it twice. Great product. Don't miss out folks.

Great little camera. Setup was easy compared to other cameras I’ve used in the past. Very small and discrete camera so you can fit it anywhere. I have it hanging upside down. You can flip the camera in the app so this was perfect for what I needed.

Will not consistently connect to network. Accepts SD card, then says no SD card. If it can't decide what is what, it is useless to me. Ease of setup? I sat on my sofa and couldn't get it set up with it in my lap! Motion detection? What motion detection? Camera quality? I wouldn't know. Never got that far. Security? I wouldn't worry about security - if it isn't working, no one is going to hack into it, are they? Yes, I'm peevish. AAARRRRGGGHHHHH!

This is an amazing camera! It is extremely clear (much clearer than my ring) and provides consistent feedback for my back courtyard. I love it and have recommended it to my son.
