Coco is a rescue taken by the police from an awful breeder. She's had a terrible life and due to mistreatment is a sick little girl. My vet said her kidneys were so bad he wasn't sure she'd make it. Lots of sub q fluids and care and she's hanging in there. This is the only food she will eat. Even though it's really expensive, the dog actually likes it and she's doing much better since she started eating it. It's been a literal life saver for us. My other dogs go crazy when they smell it. I tell them they are way too healthy for food this expensive!

My 14-year-old Min Dachshund is in the beginning stage of kidney disease, so my Vet recommended that I put her on a kidney-friendly diet. My vet told me that I may have trouble switching my dog's food, so she suggested that I introduce it slowly. My baby loves this food! She immediately took to it and so quickly that I am going to purchase this same brand in kibble bites. This way I can mix the two and make them last longer because it can get expensive. The follow-up labs 2 weeks later were better, so I will update after the 2 month follow-up.Update: Labs checking kidney function are all back to normal! However, it is getting difficult to find this dog food as many places run out of it.

So far my kidney dog is eating this. It has been hard because his appetite waxes and wanes but so far so good. I warm it up for him and that increases the smell which helps entice him more. Much better than having to tube feed him which is what I have to do, if he does not eat enough on his own.

My dog loves this food but I don’t understand the feeding guidelines at all. My dog is 12lbs and he needs to gain weight. It says 4 3/4 a day for a 12lbs dog. 4 3/4 what? Ounces? Or trays? I’d it’s 4 3/4 trays that is like 16oz of food a day. That seems high. Please advise. Thanks

I have bought this food several times for my dogs. But this last time, it was not good. The food was very discolored and the smell was awful. The expiration wasn't until next year but you could tell this food was bad.

It must be doggie delicious because my little girl, who often walks away from her food bowl, does NOT walk away from this!!!In addition, it has made her early kidney disease numbers go down!!!I am thrilled with this product!!!!!!!!!

This food has been a complete game changer for my 17 year old Chihuahua. She hated all the other renal care foods I tried and it was a big struggle to get her to eat. She LOVES Forza10! She dances around and cries while waiting for me to open the package and get the food into her bowl. She is healthier and happier and I'm SO relieved to have found a food that she loves that is also good for her kidneys.

My dog wouldn't eat the prescription food for kidney disease that we tried from the vet. We tried several different brands. Did a search and found this non-prescription food. Bought some, and she eats it and has improved somewhat. The vet is surprised. It's pretty pricey but to us it's worth it for our girl. We do add white rice and chicken broth to it (which we tried with the prescription foods) and she seems to be satisfied with it. Edit,We have eliminated the chicken broth and now add cooked carrots and Eric . She absolutely loves it now.
