I was suprised how easy it is to remove a battery and install this replacement in a Macbook Air. If you have any battery issues at all it's completely within your ability to replace it, all the tools you need are included with the battery and there are dozens of simple how to videos. The instalation took 10mins and the new battery began working immediately.The battery is still good as new 40 days after intalation relacing an almost 12 year old battery in a 2013 Macbook Air. All battery related diagnostics look good, the battery charges fairly quick and can hold enough charge for a days worth of use, I might estimate that to be 8hrs. The Battery along with self instalation is definetly worth the price if you have any battery issue currently. When dealing with older macbooks replacing the battery is possibly the easiest way to make you your Macbook Air feel 10years younger.

This was an easy swap-out and battery has been working fine without any particular issue. Didn't notice a huge jump in battery life but maybe the old battery wasn't quite as bad as we thought (and the laptop now has Linux on it so it wouldn't be apples-to-apples anyway…)So really no problems just can't speak to the exact capacity. Certainly didn't hurt to swap it so long as we can figure out how to properly recycle the old one.

Great replacement battery for apple MacBook. Fits like it should and made just like the oem one. Came with everything you need and simple install. Runs great and last a long time. Time will tell how long it will last but like all batteries, they will eventually degrade over time.

I installed this battery in my old 2017 Mac Air. I am typing this review on that machine.The installation is easy, especially since both screwdrivers needed are included in the package. Be sure to shut the laptop down fully first, ensure you are grounded to prevent static discharge, make sure the laptop is unplugged, and then it is a matter of simply unscrewing the back, unscrewing the battery, unplugging the battery, and lifting it out. Fortunately, the models that use this battery did NOT come with glued-down batteries.Once you have the battery out, simply put the new one in, plug in the battery, screw it down, replace the case, screw it down, and you are done.There are no instructions with this battery, so be aware. However, it is an easy repair job and can breathe new life into your Macbook Air.I have been surfing for 90 min or so, opened 89 tabs in Brave browser, and done some Amazon shopping, and the battery is at 83%. That is pretty good.I do recommend charging up to full upon first install, use the laptop until it exhausts the battery, and then charge to full. This allows the Mac to learn the capacity and time remaining for the battery.I have attached a screenshot I just took of the battery status. Strange that is shows less than 100% on battery health, but in my experience that fluctuates and is not gospel, so to speak.If, after repeated cycles, this battery shows weakness or lack of quality, then I will update the review. Until then, 5 stars.

Worked out great for my 2015 MBA and went from a battery that lasted maybe 30 mins to several hours of normal use without any issues. Docked a star because the included tools were not correct for the internal battery screws on my MBA, but thankfully I already had a cool iFixit toolkit anyway. Installation was a breeze once I got the right tools.To clear the Sevice Recommended flag I tried a couple of 100%->shut down to try and recalibrate, but in the end it took an SMC Reset to get it resolved.Docking the same star as after calibration the battery is only 92% rated 7000maH capacity, which is a little bit of a bummer.Great pricing versus OEM.

They do suggest that Videos are available online regarding Installation.I have experience with replacing this Battery so that is not a game changer but if you are inexperienced you may want to watch the online instructional to decide if you are able to do this Battery Installation.The YUERYE Battery is a High Quality replacement, it does states that it has up to 1500 recharge cycles over the life of the battery and it has Built-in circuit protection for safety and stability.I am extremely satisfied with the YUERYE Lithium-ion Battery and it is a superior replacement battery.
