Jo Frost's Confident Toddler Care: The Ultimate Guide to the Toddler Years

I never like the Supernanny show, but this book is AWESOME!
These books have turned my family completely right side up. Thrilled with the Jo Frost book series. This book as well as Jo Frost's Toddler Rules should be essential books for new moms! The focus is on well rounded care as a way to prevent bad behavior. Therefore, you use less discipline. When you do need it, you can be stern without yelling or anger and then reinforce with love. My toddler turned into a different child within 2 days of trying her methods. I will be giving this as a gift to friends and new moms! Great ideas for busy families, working families, different aged toddlers, and lots of different behavioral issues and some development issues too.

A Great Book for Mothers
I bought this when I became a grandmother. It's funny what you forget when you haven't taken care of a baby or a toddler for 20 or 30 years. It's great for refreshing old brains and for informing new mothers of the correct way to raise a toddler.

Very helpful book
Jo Front writes such great books and her advice is so good. I bought them for dealing with my one and two year old grandchildren who are basically very good kids. I just want to be prepared for the future with them and funny that her ideas are so much like I raised my two sons who are now 39 and 36 and always well behaved with me being a single parent for most of their life.

I love this book so far
I love this book so far. It is a textbook for toddler care, organized very well and with excellent tips. I highly recommend this guide and know I will continue to refer to it as I continue these short, but intense years!

Supernanny tips for at home!
This book has some great tools to help with your toddler. We also do love and logic but this has some other useful tips we use when we hit a wall.

great guidelines
she is my hero so this is like carrying her around in my pocket. it's a nice reference for people who babysit, too, to see how we generally handle things and situations they might have questions about.

Maybe ok for older children
Just too strict for me. It assumes that everything your child does is a deliberate choice to misbehave. My son is only 2 and I don’t think he would understand a time-out. Some advice about mealtimes was helpful and I liked that Jo tries to cover most toddler behaviours, but perhaps it would be better suited to an older child who you know really is deliberately misbehaving rather than a curious two year old testing limits.

This book has really helped me to understand the behaviour ...
This book has really helped me to understand the behaviour of my toddler and what I need to be doing differently with my own behaviour, routine and choices. Really helped me take back control and re find my patience!

She is really wonderful and if you read along side watching her Tv ...
Jo frost is a genius. I've been a teacher for years but my toddler is a whole new skill set. She is really wonderful and if you read along side watching her Tv show she offers lots of helpful advice.
