I bought a cheap charcoal grill off of Amazon a few months back. It arrived slightly bent. The top shell had a slight bend in it, which in turn meant it wasn’t closing properly with the bottom. I was losing the majority of my smoke and heat out of the front and sides. I came to Amazon and found this, and I have to say it has worked perfectly. I no longer have smoke coming out where I don’t want it to. I just applied the gasket where I found the gaps and it did the trick. I absolutely recommend this to anyone looking to fix their grill.

The repair does not have to look good to work. This product cures very fast and I have had it up to 500 degrees with no issues.

Easy install. Cut and install to size. Enough for average size smoker lid. Red silicone small cracks and worked well.

The gasket makes a great seal and the added silicone makes it stick that much better. Easy to apply by peel and stick and unmatched performance up to 500 degrees. This easy to trim gasket should fit any grill/smoker.

This was easy to apply good price se as per was easy to clean up seals great no leaks will last a long time very durability

This works well, except that it doesn’t stick well, AND if you do get a temp leak, this material will burn and shrink, which allows smoke (and heat) to leak through.

I put this around the top lid of a $96 walmart "Expert Grill 24 inch", because it leaked a lot of smoke when grilling. Next step is to seal the front door. This will turn my cheap starter grill into something higher quality, sealing in the heat. So far, it works as advertised.

Simple to use on my Offset Smoker. The seal was simple to measure and adhere and the high temp silicone was just as easy. Helped mod my cheap unit (along with an extra Temp Guage) into a more air flow-friendly and economic smoker.
